About this deal

Throughout the years, I’ve tried numerous swim fins from FINIS Zoomers to TYR Crossblade Swim Fins. All have left my feet blistered and in pain, until I tried the Arena Power Pro Fin and finally found the perfect fins for my feet. The original arena swim snorkel has a one way purge system meaning no water inhalation. It features a super soft hypoallergenic silicone mouth piece and helps you to focus on your stroke without turning your head to breathe. The fixed headband and centred construction for maximum stability whereas the swivel head makes it easy to breathe and talk to coach between drills. Something unique that I like is the adjustable heel straps. These allow you to further customize your fins for a comfortable and secure fit. I believe this fin is probably best for more competitive swimmers, more so due to the price. Lap and leisure swimmers can also use them if they’re okay with the price. But I also believe that a more affordable set of fins can work just as well 🙂

Next to the weight, this is probably the biggest negative that I have about these fins. They’re certainly not the cheapest fins available. In fact, they’re probably one of the most expensive pair of training fins on the market as of this writing. Probably one of the biggest reasons I put off wearing these fins for so long was their weight. Now, that’s not to say they’re extremely heavy or feel like ankle weights on your feet.Again, I want to stress that the weight of these fins isn’t a significant amount. However, if you’re used to longer and/or lighter fins, they may feel heavier when you first start using them. Price These factors will differ based on how you plan on using the fins. What Equipment Do You Need to Start Lap Swimming?: What swim equipment do you need to start swimming? We help you break down which gear you need so you can make the best decisionThese fins feature flex points along the middle of the fin to help avoid foot cramping. This is a nice feature, as long sets with fins can lead to cramps in the arch of your foot. Swimming with fins is something every swimmer should add to their workout. Even if it’s just for a couple of hundreds. Fins help you: No, you shouldn’t use diving or snorkeling fins if you’re swimming. Diving and snorkeling fins are long and made for slow, easy motions. Like what you would use when you’re snorkeling or diving. The rubber material is much more flexible and softer, making it extremely comfortable to wear. The fin itself is also very lightweight, which makes it ideal for new, young, and older swimmers.
