About this deal

Jumbo seems to have a few, whether it be Miura one-upping him (unintentionally) or the possibility of Asagi being involved with another guy. Yotsuba has never attended school, and as of the first chapter does not know what a grade is. In chapter 35, she fails to understand repeated explanations of homework. Yotsuba has a close group of friends in the entertainment industry, including fellow actress Yui Aragaki. While cheerful on the outside and towards others, she harbours feelings of inferiority towards her sisters and her own abilities. Because of this, she grew a desire to be different from sisters. She shortened her hair, put on a ribbon and excelled in extra-curricular activities. While portrayed as a bad liar early on, she is later shown to have some skill in lying herself.

Another major strength of Yotsuba&! in my view is the sheer readability of the series. There's a very low barrier to entry for those that want to read it, and being a manga composed of small vignettes, it's very digestible. Bite-Sized, Self-Contained StoriesEven you might find someone you love in the future, Uesugi-san. And when that happens, no matter who you love, no matter how you come to love them, I'll always be on your side.. supporting you with everything I've got!" [20] One of the Kids: Most of the adults, especially Yanda and Jumbo, go through great lengths to play along with Yotsuba's antics. However, they are perfectly capable of behaving like normal adults when the kids aren't around.

Yotsuba Kominato has also been featured in various fan events and exhibitions, where fans can interact with each other and share their love for the character. The title character has Yanda, whom she instantly hates with a hatey five-year-old hate, but other characters merely find annoying. It doesn't help that Yanda takes a childish glee in figuratively (and literally) yanking her pigtails. Despair Event Horizon: When Duralumin's voice box is broken, Yotsuba almost goes catatonic with grief. Leitmotif: In the Image Songs; Yotsuba has one for herself, naturally, as does General Winter in the winter album. In Chapter 87, Yotsuba draws a picture of Pretty Cure and shows her grandma. She describes it as "fighting with lots of dogs".Cool and Unusual Punishment: Yotsuba claimed a "lying bug" was making her lie, so her dad put her in the enclosure of a guardian niō statue at a Buddhist temple, claiming it'd "get rid of" whatever was lying. Cue complete meltdown and a bawled confession that she was the one lying, after which Koiwai let her out. Yotsuba, appropriately enough, gets two bright circles on her cheeks a few times, such as when her reading ability is praised. Goldfish Scooping Game: At the town fireworks display, where Yotsuba gets to play more than her usual three times. That's not to say it's all smooth sailing, however. Especially if you're a beginner who has yet to venture beyond the textbooks, there are a few things about Yotsuba&! that might trip you up. Different Speech Styles

Yotsuba Kominato, the popular anime character from the “Detective Conan” series, has a massive fan following in Japan and around the world. Her cute and cheerful personality has won the hearts of many fans, who admire her spunk and determination. I Was Told There Would Be Cake: At one point, Yotsuba joins the Ayases because she's told they'll be serving cake. She is incredibly disappointed to receive pound cake, which doesn't count as cake in her eyes. Ojou: Yotsuba, Ena, and Miura play at being "fancy young ladies" in the car while driving to the campground. Yotsuba's face when her dad sees the mess she made from painting the table blue (without his permission) and the paint on her hands that she's desperately trying (and failing) to wash off. Slice of Life: Each chapter is an episode in Yotsuba's literal daily life — as in taking place on sequentia

Danboard figures

Four-Leaf Clover: Yotsuba is named for it, her hair resembles one, and she gives one to Asagi, who also gave one to her mum as a child. Koiwai being pounced on the chest or stomach while resting/lying down by Yotsuba, with one time by Jumbo. He understandably takes a while to recover from that.

Yotsuba also imitates the dialogue from a gangster movie she sees on TV, resulting in her quipping " You can tell me in Hell!" before sniping people with her water gun. Unbeknowst to Yotsuba, Miura is the one who made and is hiding inside the cardboard robot known as Cardbo (or "Danbo"). Miura made it together with Ena for a school project, and ever since Yotsuba walked in on Miura trying on the robot costume, the two girls have been pretending that Cardbo is a real robot, which Yotsuba fully believes in. Yotsuba loves being with Cardbo, which Miura finds frustrating since it is very warm in there, but Ena keeps insisting they keep Cardbo's real identity a secret because Yotsuba's dreams must be preserved.Cat Smile: Two from Fuuka, one from Ena, and one from Yotsuba, for various reasons. For example, Fuuka does it once when she finds out Jumbo uses a beard trimmer while trying to hold in her laughter as Yotsuba had just trimmed some of Jumbo's beard off right in the middle.
