About this deal

The Voyager Class WFC-S25 Soundwave figure comes with HI-KEP Concussion Blaster, LR-HD Sonic Cannon, and EMTX Blitz Charge Blaster accessories. All 3 combine to form a USW HF Sonic Compression Mega-Blaster accessory. Figure features multiple C.O.M.B.A.T. System weapon ports to attach weapons, enabling custom configurations in bot and vehicle modes. First, his head sculpt is very faithful to the G1 head design, complete with a crest that has the double tip on top (just like the Decepticon symbol) flanked by two pieces on either side of his head that come up over the helmet portion of the head with visor eyes and a mouthplate. It's such an iconic look that it even carried over to the Movie Soundwave figure (albeit a bit altered).

Build the ultimate battlefield: discover an expansive ecosystem of collectible figures and weapon accessories with Siege figures. (Each sold separately. Subject to availability). Includes Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Siege WFC-S25 Soundwave figure, 3 weapon accessories, and instructions. By 1985, Soundwave had returned by some unknown means. At some point, he and Starscream uncovered information about a "terrible secret" buried beneath Cobra Island, and set out to destroy Cobra Commander should the terrorist refuse to allow them access to it. Divided Front #5 Part of the second wave of Kreon Warriors, "Knight Soundwave" is a fantasy-medieval version of the Decepticon. He has a clip-on wooden "Laserbeak"-y bird, but it's not specifically labeled as "Laserbeak". His shield also bears a coat of arms featuring two bird heads and a feline head. What could that mean? Hmmmmm.... Later on, Soundwave teamed up with his future self, Soundblaster, and with Full-Tilt as the final defense against the Autobots before they reached Megatron and Galvatron. When the Autobots arrived, Soundblaster started by expressing dull surprise at how the Autobots managed to survive up until the current point. Soundwave continued, warning the Autobots that he would not let them stand in Megatron's way. Both the present and future versions of the Communications Officer we all know and love put up the best fight they could, but even with Full-Tilt's help, the Autobots overpowered them.During one of Hasbro's designer panels at BotCon 2008, an audience member questioned the feasibility of releasing this figure in the 2008 Universe toy line, but without the expensive MP3 player electronics. Bizarrely, Hasbro design director Aaron Archer gave a seemingly prepared statement that did not answer the question at all, and instead stated that Hasbro were unlikely to release Music Label Soundwave in their markets due to the obscurity of the MiniSD memory card format. (For what it's worth, Hasbro's Greg Lombardo had given an actual answer to the same question at BotCon 2007, when he stated that ML Soundwave's innards are so devoted to electronics that removing them might adversely impact the leftover toy's appearance and stability.) Known designers: Aaron Archer and Joe Kyde (Hasbro), Takashi Kunihiro (TakaraTomy), Andrew Scribner (deco artist) Several of the "War for Cybertron" designs attempted to synthesize the classic Generation One aesthetic and the more angular and jagged designs from the live action Transformers movies. This is very evident with Soundwave's redesign, which manages to combine this new aesthetic with some very classic features. It's not just loyalty to Megatron that makes Soundwave such an effective soldier, however. Soundwave wouldn't be caught dead employing Bond villain tactics; he is concise and pragmatic in all of his endeavors. If he doesn't personally harm you during an outing, don't consider it an act of mercy or decency. You're not a part of his mission and not worth considering. Primus help you if you're in the way or you are his mission. Soundwave ejected all of his minions from his chest compartment, only for the last in line, Rumble, to refuse to come out; with all the extra leg room he now had, he was too comfortable to relinquish his spot. Lil Formers Mini Mayhem!

When the Core was located, it was found to have ruptured. Though the Decepticons attempted to seal the leak, the Autobots closed in, forcing Starscream to carry it away prematurely. Soundwave consulted Teletraan Alpha for instructions on how to repair it, learning that it could be done at a Plasma Energy Interface on Cybertron. When the Core was brought to the Proudstar's command tower, it was sent through the space bridge. Once it was repaired and reinstalled, the cyberforming continued. When the Autobots tried to obtain the Ferrotaxis, they faced off against Soundwave once again, defeating him. Though disappointed by his most loyal follower's defeat, Megatron noted it hardly mattered with regards to his plan. Transformers: Devastation Soundwave was present when a captured Optimus Prime was brought before Megatron. He witnessed Megatron's "death" at the hands (literally) of Metroplex.

Part of the second wave of "Battle Upgrade" Hero Mashers toys, Soundwave is a non-transforming action figure with ratchet-joints, about six inches tall. He has multiple peg-holes all over that can be used to mount any Hero Mashers accessory. This mold was redecoed into Buzzsaw and Sunder, and was also retooled into Ratbat. This toy was also repurposed as Generation 1 Laserbeak in IDW's Robots in Disguise comic series and as Cloud Laserbeak.
