It’s a mini heat gun that’s great when you need accuracy over power and portability over fan power. In fact, I think it’s one of the best mini heat guns I’ve tried out so far. If you’re a hobbyist or electrician who needs to save on toolkit space, this is the one for you. Directs a concentrated heat flow to the work surface – ideal for removing paint from awkward corners, crevices, mouldings, beading or architraves. Despite being weaker than their corded variants, these are still heat guns, thus requiring the same precautionary measures. Gloves and Goggles are highly recommended. Other minor dislikes of the VonHaus machine is the triple position trigger, which is responsible for turning on the device but also for setting it to the high or low heat and airflow configurations. A separate lever or button for setting the power level would have been preferred, especially since the trigger is too easy to operate unintentionally. The power rating on a heat gun is measured in Watts. The higher the number, the more power the heat gun pulls in from the electricity source. Usually, this translates to a higher temperature at the nozzle end but also means your electricity bill will be higher. Tips

With a reputation for stripping paint from just about anything, this super strength all purpose incarnation of the classic formula is up to the same sorts of standards. It is fair to note that older versions of Nitromors did have a different formula, as legislation removed a potentially hazardous chemical from the product. Due to the budgetary nature of the VonHaus heat gun, the nozzles also do not always maintain a perfect fit, with some nozzles loosening as they are heated, while others sometimes becoming too tight, making them difficult to remove.
