About this deal

Spring-loaded shooters bolts have appeared in several colours but this pearl silver piece is brand new. Of course, the drawstring does not actually function but its position is absolutely perfect in relation to the missile and I am impressed with the rotating winch levers beside the handgrip too. This model does seem substantially bulkier than the original ballista but copious authentic details are included. Includes The Mandalorian and Tusken Raider LEGO® minifigures, each with weapons for roleplay battles, plus a LEGO figure of the Child (the popular character affectionately known as Baby Yoda).

An intimidating Tusken Raider completes the minifigure selection which seems appropriate, given the Mandalorian's repeated interactions with these Tatooinian natives. This minifigure is identical to the version which appeared in two sets during 2020 and looks absolutely perfect in my opinion. The bandaged head features particular moulded detail, including dark bluish grey spines and a metallic silver breathing filter. Moving away from retired products, let’s talk about Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder. This is a great option for Star Wars fans looking to beef up their Tatooine collection and unlike the two sets above, it isn’t retired. The Power of the Dark Side · Treasury: The Original Trilogy · 5-Minute Star Wars Stories · The Chewbacca Story And speaking of Minifigs, this set includes fan-favorite Han Solo, a Sandtrooper, Greedo the bounty hunter, and Wuher. The Mos Eisley Cantina has cute mugs for beverages, a booth, a bar, and even a sliding door. Pros: The speeder has a LEGO® minifigure seat and saddlebag for the Child to sit in. The set also features a buildable Tusken hut hideout and spring-loaded, missile-shooting ballista for the Tusken Raider.

The speeder measures over 1.5 in. (3 cm) high, 5 in. (13 cm) long and 1.5 in. (3 cm) wide, and this complete set combines brilliantly with other LEGO® Star Wars™ buildable playsets for creative play.Furthermore, the torso decoration corresponds precisely with the source material, combining ragged cloth with reddish brown pouches across the torso. Naturally, another exclusive figure would have been great to provide additional variation between Tusken Raiders, although I am satisfied with this design. As usual, this minifigure carries a brutal gaderffii. Speeder bikes of varying design appear throughout the LEGO Star Wars range. This example measures nearly 13cm in length and takes inspiration from the Zephyr-J speeder bike which is featured on Tatooine during both seasons of The Mandalorian. The model includes remarkable detail, particularly towards the rear where fuel conduits and other mechanical structures remain exposed.

The epic marriage of LEGO and Star Wars continues to entice and astound LEGO builders everywhere with their fun, approachable, Trouble on Tatooine set. This set for ages seven and up is smaller than a lot of the other Star Wars LEGO sets that I’ve written about. However, I have said this one and I will keep saying it: I love the way that LEGO makes sets for everyone. From age ranges to price ranges, LEGO doesn’t make you compromise on quality and fun for a lower price tag. Unfortunately, the pearl silver helmet does contrast with the metallic silver printing so seems slightly odd and I think the shaping of the visor could also have been improved. Nevertheless, the dark bluish grey cape matches the onscreen character and his most remarkable feature is probably the printed arms! These rarely appear within the Star Wars theme but were definitely appropriate here. This awesome kids’ building toy includes The Mandalorian and Tusken Raider LEGO minifigures, a LEGO figure of the Child (affectionately known as Baby Yoda), plus cool weapons to inspire hours of role-play fun. A great gift idea for young Star Wars: The Mandalorian fans, it comes with clear instructions so even LEGO first-timers can enjoy the building experience. As the only play set in LEGO’s current 2021 Star Wars lineup, the Trouble on Tatooine kit delivers on just about everything you’d want from it. The theming is consistent all-around and assembles some pretty interesting models that offer a complete scope over the episode of The Mandalorian that inspired it. A really cool collection of Minifigs are included in this one (two Jawas, a Tusken Raider, and an astromech droid). The Minifigs included in this set are all great, but The Mandalorian and The Child are new to this set and the Tusken Raider is just plain awesome. Chronicles · Annotated Screenplays · Empire Building · Behind the Magic (CD-ROM) · Storyboards · Costumes Trouble on Tatooine is a 276 piece set from 2021 for ages seven and up. It depicts a scene from The Mandalorian season two and features a buildable speeder, a buildable ballista, a buildable Tusken tent, and three Minifigs.
