About this deal

Everything was about sex. Unnecessary amount of focus on sex or sexually activity. Every chapter is about some sort of sexual activity or weird game about it or about sexual abuse. It was overkill. Unnecessary.

Mia and Ollie are both characters who will remain in my heart forever. I could identify with Mia in so many ways and resonate with her so strongly. We had a lot of factual things in common, like our interests and different things that we are familiar with. Ollie, however, I could relate to even more. Being an empath, I could understand a lot of his feelings, although he takes empathy to a whole new level. As someone who loves dark romance and is familiar with the morally grey, violent, and questionable men, it was different to immediately fall in love with the pure-hearted, loving, caring, poetic hero of this story. He is the ultimate book boyfriend and no one can convince me otherwise.i haven’t started yet because i was at my bf’s grandfather’s viewing today and tomorrow is his funeral so this is why i’ve been so busy as of late🥺ily all tho, you guys always brighten my days<3 I loved this man to death. He was the definition of a cute, swoony alpha H. Before anything else, I loved how, in the beginning of each chapter, there’s a quote from Ollie and each one spoke deeply to my soul. As a character, Ollie was patient, loving, empathic. I’m often drawn to the asshole, tortured Hs and, yes, Ollie definitely had his own demons but there was something different about him from heroes I often read that I couldn’t help but be intrigued by. He was a special one, and I adored him. <3 OKAY SO SINCE GOODREADS DOESN’T WANT TO WORK “goodreads is over capacity”…my review will be posted tomorrow! mwah!<3

i could’ve finished this book in less than a day if my life didn’t get so unexpectedly busy😩this book had me crying sfm that i ended up getting a migraine and fell asleep for hours so this is why my review took so long to finally be posted🥲idk what i was expecting before getting into this book, but it definitely wasn’t that. i know a lot of my updates were about ollie and how perfect he is, but i just really wanna emphasize how emotional, dark and heartbreaking this book really is. in real life, there was evil. In real life, parents couldn’t protect you from everything, and most importantly, in real life, there was pain” Ollie "touched" OW, let her give him a bj, watched her "touch" herself for a bit and he even went as far as putting on a condom but he eventually stopped because he went "soft" and deep down his soul was telling him to stop.i. will. never. be. the. same. this book, although my least favorite of the series, was still so good. there’s really nothing i can say about why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because i refuse to spoil anything. book three was definitely a journey. plot twists that i didn’t see coming. the first 35% of the book is part of the reason for my rating. it made me upset, but was still interesting to read because i had no idea what was going to happen. this one definitely had my anxiety going…had my heart racing a mile a minute. i’m still trying to recover😩 Mia is there because she believes she is a sociopath, she is unable to feel any emotions or empathy. She meets Ollie who is different from anyone she has ever met before because he makes her feel things. The story not only details the romance between the two, but her recovery, his mental illness, and several other characters that they hang out with. in conclusion, while i know this book isn't perfect, the love story was beautiful and i couldn't stop reading 🥺 i loved the writing too, i heard this was the author's debut and i can't believe it. I read so much that I'm rarely taken completely off guard in that particular way, and if this is only Nicole's second book, sign me up for all the rest! This author has balls and talent, and I have a feeling she will only get better from here.

The characters were so fun and interesting which made me want to know more. Although the author doesn't say as much about everyone besides Ollie and Mia, I still felt like I could connect with everyone. And boy did I connect (if you couldn't tell by the rating).i loved the whole falling in love process and the epilogue?? 🥺🥺 i’m usually super against “insta-lovey” romances, but ollie... goddamn it. i love him. every little poem at the beginning of the chapters were beautiful, too. and can we talk about how book 1 Ollie wouldn't even look and touch other women as Mia was the only one for him?? If you're looking for a unique romantic story with so much more, then you MUST READ THIS TRILOGY!!! the fire to her ice. the light to her dark. these two are the absolute definition of made for each other. no one can convince me otherwise. my babies went through so much. cruel things that neither one of them deserved. my heart bleeds for them. i’m in love with the way they love each other🥹their love is so strong that even though i’m in a relationship…i felt SINGLE reading about them. does that even make sense!? at this point i feel like their love is indescribable and you besties just need to read about them to understand how i feel😩 Oliver and Mia's love is one that is so deep, so true, and so vulnerable. They sacrificed so much for each other and encountered terrifying situations, whether it be opening themselves up in ways they haven't before, or putting themselves directly in the line of danger. They truly fought for their happy ending. While I would love to see more from them in the future, as they are one of my top favorite book couples ever, I am also so content and happy with the ending. It felt so perfect and yes, I cried my eyes out for the entire thing.

Mia and Oliver meet at Dolor University, located in the UK, in "Stay With Me". Mia overcomes her "sociopathic" tendencies, opening her heart to others around her, particularly Ollie. towards the end of SWM, Ollie is taken and forced into a difficult situation that threatens their relationship in "Even When I'm Gone". They are resilient throughout and make the final fight for their love in "Now Open Your Eyes". And Mia my god .. Mia poor girl is a psychopath who just can’t deal with her emotions drawn on my her traumatic past... As for the side characters, Ethan.. I hate him since last book and I don't think it'll change. When Zeke was mentioned I started crying so bad because I know he would be so proud of his besties. I'm glad Liam and Jake are still close to Mia and Ollie, and so happy they also have a better group of friends now. I loved their love language, all their small touches that meant so much more. Brushing their noses, forehead kisses, lacing their fingers together, hugs from behind, whispering in each other’s ears. Omg they are the cutest.

After too many misdemeanors Mia is sent to Dolor University which is a reformatory college for delinquents in the United Kingdom, the best of the best. I didn’t know what to expect from the third book. It was a bit confusing for me, it took me longer to get into it. There was so much happening and at the same time nothing. All i could think about in the beginning was that the first two books would have been enough. She could have stopped there. please don’t let this be another dnf cuz now that i dnf’d a book for the very first time…i won’t be able to stop😋i have high hopes tho hehe🤭
