The Magreel Telescopic Rod & Reel is a well-made product. The construction is very solid, and it seems like it would hold up to a lot of abuse. The ceramic guide ring is a nice touch, and it does seem to help with heat dissipation.

Lightweight, and finely balanced, the action realy caught our eye as it performs equally as a two or three piece rod. The STC Exage BX Mini Telespin is one of the highest quality telescopic spinning rods built today and is available in various lengths and casting weights to suit all styles of fishing. My only complaint is that the gears don’t seem quite as smooth as I would like them to be, but overall it’s a decent sea reel for the price. Light drop shot fishing or spinning are an ideal use for this rod.
