About this deal

Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep. some days later, after the hero went TikTok - almost- with a video where he cries and asks for her forgiveness, she decides to give him another chance. Poor hero. With such a high maintenance girl I don’t know how happy he can be. His choice though.

Also with this one I felt like it was VERY unrealistic that she would just so openly talk about wanting to lose her virginity on the internet… But nevertheless I love these purity culture books, because they make one realize how much something like that can affect your personal perception of shame

Publication Order of Toxic Love Books

This book should be used as a how-to on taking all heat and spontaneity from sex and intimacy in a romance. Straight cringe.

However when she looks into those stern dark eyes, this ache pulls at the pit of her stomach. She wants him to dominate her, and she wants to taunt him in return. Lauren has never been able to resist Camden, even when she knows she should really protect her heart. Because he still hates her, and this is just a temporary arrangement for him. So she cannot let this become more for her. But then some snippets of weird things came in. Like use of OH GOD for 106 times, not only from h but also H. Sometimes H talked the same way as h (same use of phrases like Jesus,oh god etc) He falls first and hard. He watches her online and admires her from afar but when he actually meets her. Its as if the earth shifts. He has these feelings from nowhere that he doesn’t recognise and doesn’t know how to deal with them. No, currently, there is no movie project for this novel. Where can I read the Shame by Skyler Mason ?The character development throughout this was amazing to read. Both separately and together. They heal each other. They were so good together. This book had so much potential, truly sad.. it had this old school college book vibes like Beautiful Disaster, nerd and off campus series. It started off so damn well. This story follows Vanessa, that grew up in a purity culture. This is the second book in the series and I havent read the first so would def say this can be read as a standalone. She wants rid of her virginity and isnt aftaid to admit it. She has a huge following on tiktok and announces that she has a deadline to ‘do it’. Vanessa was a strong fmc, always spoke her mind. She was realistic, honest. She understood body language and how othters worked and their intentions. The story shows the reality of teenagers and young adults, where sex is casual and loses every romantic meaning- which is quite sad, as it’s sad the emotionless way both characters talk about it. I might be older but where are those fluttering in your belly, where’s the heart ache and the shivering, those emotions that are obvious absent in these people who treat sex as basic corporal function. I just cannot read books where H becomes sappy, beta man who is fine that the girl he loves dates other men ( she implied What if.. after leaving him). I know people are different and reactions, values and morals varies in culture, countries and in people general but I personally want to read about man who says I can give you time but we will end up together and I will beat up any man who you plan to date.

He’s an asshole to her after they have sex because he’s feeling vulnerable. He’s caught feelings at this point and she’s trying to make sure he knows she knows it’s just sex which hurts his feelings. He’s not a huge asshole but he’s an asshole all the same. However, He convinces her to keep sleeping together for three weeks so he can try to make her fall for him. It works. They decide to stay together. I felt there was way too many tropes and other things added. It was chaotic. For example H had sex with men too. I was like what? Not that I am against it but it just felt coming from left field. Then him being manwhore, unable to love, tortured hero and player. Vanessa has been brought up within a strict family, were you are taught to feel s Since I’ve literally slain the only other book I’ve read of this author, I was feeling a lil bit guilty and I’ve decided to give her another try.it’s a young adult, so be warned. The characters are 20 and in college, so if this is not your thing you may find it boring. Travel and tell no one, live a true love story and tell no one, live happily and tell no one, people ruin beautiful things. the heroine. I understand her issue but she’s a mass of contradictions. Ok she wants to be a good non virgin Christian but she’s as prejudiced and stiff as the people she’s running from. This was a new author to me and I received this as an Arc. I went in blind (as I do with most books) The one line on the cover drew me in. ‘Shes a sinner and im going to prove it’. Literally. Now you just have to prepare yourself for all the harassment you’re going to get from frat guys.”
