About this deal

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a large 4,300mAh battery cell that, from my testing with the phone, is good for a day and half of moderate real world usage. This isn't as strong as some other flagships, such as the Huawei P30 Pro, which is good for two days between charges, but for a phone with such a big screen and internal spec, I feel is actually good. I never had any battery anxiety when using this device and, well, that's a mark of endorsement from me. That state-of-the-art silicon is coupled with 12GB of RAM and a choice of either 256GB or 512GB of built-in storage. Unlike the Note 10, the Galaxy Note 10+ does include a microSD slot which can be used to add up to 1TB of additional storage, so you’re unlikely to everrun out of space on this handset, with a maximum possible storage of 1.5TB beating many laptops, let alone other phones. Battery time is based on our own laboratory measurements, and may vary depending on factors such as device settings, usage patterns and operating conditions. And, as you would expect, that hardware translated to a buttery smooth user experience in-app, in-game, and when navigating the phone's user interface. Lag and waiting is definitely not something that you have to deal with when using the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (and the Galaxy Note 10+) are official. But how are they different? Let’s find out…

The S10's telephoto camera is f/2.4, not f/2.1 The Note 9 doesn't have the wide-angle camera or the time-of-flight sensor. The clean One UI interface lines most navigation options on the bottom half of the Note 10 Plus screen, within thumb's reach. Everything on the device is well-laid-out. That's, sadly, not the case when extending Samsung's software beyond the phone.

On the other carriers, things are messier. The Note 10+ 5G won't be able to use the fast 5G T-Mobile has installed in six cities; instead, it will use a slower, potentially nationwide form of the network that will feel more like good 4G. Ditto for the AT&T model, where the Note 10 won't use any of the speedy millimeter-wave the carrier has been touting in 19 cities here, just its upcoming slower nationwide network. On Sprint, the situation is totally unclear. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 does come with 5G, though not like you’d expect. Rather than outfitting ALL the models with 5G, Samsung is instead releasing a separate 5G model that is known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G (and, yes, 5G is ONLY available on the most expensive Galaxy Note 10 model, the Plus). Ultra-wide and 2x zoom telephoto lenses offer more interesting perspectives, something not on the Pixel 3 The time-of-flight sensor, so far, is not terribly useful. It enables an AR measuring app, but that's about it. In the future it's supposed to enable a "3D scanner" feature that scans objects and then turns them into 3D avatars you can then put into AR scenes or even make act things out via motion-capture, but that feature isn't live yet. This Samsung generation also brings new Wi-Fi capabilities. The S10 and Note 10 are among the first mainstream phones to support 802.11ax or Wi-Fi 6, a new standard that improves Wi-Fi speed and range in crowded conditions. To take advantage of that you'll need an 802.11ax router, and those are expensive right now. But if you intend to keep your phone for three years, buying an 802.11ax-compatible device is a good idea. The device is waterproof, at least, although it's far from rugged. As with any phone this expensive, I advise getting a case. Low light photos look better than ever thanks to a dedicated Night Mode. Without it, people’s skin looks like a 1990s glamor portrait when Photoshop first came on the scene – so much unfortunate airbrushing going on. The Note 10 Plus delivers on the hype of five cameras, with varying perspectives and superb performance from all, something we did find on the six-camera-lens LG G8.The refurbished Galaxy Note 10+ is a top-of-the-range smartphone at a bargain price. This phone offers smart technology at its best. Why buy a refurbished Galaxy Note 10+? Display Size: Measured diagonally, the screen size is 6.8" as a the full rectangle and 6.7" when accounting for the rounded corners. Actual viewable area is less due to the rounded corners and camera hole.
