About this deal

The remastered DVD releases of this episode incorrectly use the closing credits from the pilot mini-series instead of the expanded Season 1 credits. Because all players are going after the same cards, multiple dice colors can be matched with a single card. Once a die is placed, it cannot be moved to another card. You may choose not to place a matching die or dice during your turn. Soundwave bizarrely activates the lab computer by zapping it with an energy beam from his fingertip... which lights up his entire arm. The AI is predictive and the game does not feel like a random chance game. Update: we stand by the AI being predictable. The actual physical version of roll for it is great the app is boring.

The game has a fun colloquial and jovial nature about it and can make the group competitive, Roll for It does also have an element of battling other for cards and player camaraderie. It’s a good little game to have on your Mobile for those evenings at the Local Pub when you can “ Pass & Play without having to plunder the depths of your cerebral abilities. At home we use an IPad and usually go for the best of three games, occasionally five as a game doesn’t usually last long.

We love this game! The only problem we are having is that no one is really playing. We have 8 games going that we started 3 days ago and only 2 people have played their turn and then nothing. We hope more people start playing cause this is a really great game. This is a fun game with great graphics and smooth animations. Unfortunately we think more emphasis was put in the graphics than the entropy necessary to truly randomize the dice rolls. As many others have mentioned, you ca man commit to a 6-dice card and spend the rest of the game trying to roll the necessary dice, and the AI will suddenly swipe the card from you in 1-2 rolls. Thats not to say that cant happen if playing this came with physical dice and cards. But not likely with the frequency it happens in this game. If the developers would just replace what they have with some better randomization of the dice, this would be a fantastic game. Only wish more people would play it online and the actual game. We waited for 2 years for the actual game to come out and it is incredible!

A special thank you to our friends at Calliope Games for sending us a copy of Roll For It! Deluxe Edition for review. As always, our thoughts and opinions are our own. The game is a real family game and is very portable to play. The box isn't too big and you can take it with you while you travel. Whether you're a dice-rolling fan or a card game fan, theWhen the Decepticons visit Chip's house to steal the antimatter formula, Chip memorizes the code...AND RIPS A FLOPPY DISK APART WITH HIS BARE HANDS. If that doesn't seem like a tremendous feat of strength, try doing so yourself (...if you can find one...) Chip must have absolutely tremendous upper body strength. Starscream's head is light gray instead of dark gray as he transforms and lands in the power plant. The previous edition of Roll For It! by Calliope Games was for 2-4 players, and two sets could be combined to allow play for up to 8 players. This Roll for It Deluxe Edition supports 2-8 players out of the box.

It's also possible to combine two different versions of the game: the red and the purple version. Like this, you are even able to play with 8 players. Roll for it! Roll your dice once per turn. The number of dice available for you to roll will change during the game, so you'll want to take great care in managing them as play progresses. When talking to Hound, Optimus seemingly says: «Ben and Hound.» («Ben e Canguro.» in Italian). He was probably supposed to say: «Okay, Hound!» («Bene, Canguro!»). As the Decepticons land at the lab, Rumble's voice is heard laughing; however, it isn't electronically modulated, making him sound like a creepy old man. You take turns to roll your dice, aiming to match them with the dice on the Target cards. If you complete the combination, then you take the card, score its allocated points total and replace it with another card. You can continue to do this until you have exhausted all possibilities with the dice that you rolled. The game is fun and easy to learn. Navigation controls arent very intuitive despite their simplicity. Several times we ruined a game as we didnt know what a button did. We dropped two stars because the phone version requires you to shake your phone to roll the dice. Wow! What an annoying feature. What about just letting us touch the screen. We found this requirement so annoying and awkward that we deleted the game. We just wont play it. Im sitting in a waiting room and it looks and feels stupid that Im shaking our phone every twenty seconds. Good thing their iPad version allows you to just tap the screen. So, that is where we will play this game. Not this version. Would be five stars because f they just removed this.

Roll For It!™ Deluxe Edition combines the fast-paced action of Roll For It!™with the beauty of Calliope Games’ iconic artwork. The Deluxe Edition includes all the contents of both the Red and Purple standard editions of the game but adds an extravagant presentation sure to wow players. year old loves to play this with us. We play against the ‘bad’ guys (computer). He likes it when the Troll AI laughs at us. He giggles every time. There is a small bug though. If you recall your dice and roll before they are all off the screen, you lose those dice on that roll. This is pretty minor though you just need to wait for the animation to finish. We just need to get that 5 year old to learn to wait. :)

Bumblebee can reconfigure his interior to accommodate Chip's wheelchair and turn his door into an entry ramp. A card is won as soon as a player successfully matches the roll requirement. That player collects the card, and any dice placed next to it are returned to their owner. It is possible for a player to win multiple cards on a turn. Once a card has been claimed, it is immediately replaced with a new card from the draw pile. If the player who is taking their turn has dice remaining from their roll, they may place them next to the new card if they wish. Any dice they used to win a card cannot be used again that same turn. They are collected and used on the next turn. Roll For It! Purple Edition comes from Chris Leader and Calliope Games. It’s a simple dice management, party, filler game which is easy to learn. In the game, 2-4 players aim to be the first to gain 40 or more points from the cards they have gained. The Purple Edition can be mixed with the Red Edition to increase the player count to eight. Take It Everywhere: Roll For It!™’s compact size means that it travels easily, making it the perfect travel game. The box itself even serves as a dice tray to roll into when you play on-the-go!
