I tested multiple products so that I can recommend the best laser levels currently available on the market. I assessed each one individually, comparing their build quality, performance, ease of use and value for money. Here are the factors that I researched and tested for each of these elements: HIGH VISIBILITY & ACCURACY ★ The powerful cross line laser easily project a red cross line at a wide angle of 110°to assist your leveling jobs, bright and clear. With high accuracy of ±1/8 of an inch at 30 Ft, the line laser enjoys lower energy consumption and longer battery lifespan, ideal for paving tiles, installing photo, door, window, or furniture carpentry, hanging wallpaper, etc. Laser levels should be able to shoot grids on walls or mark out plumb dots, although not all have a plumb dot mode.

Alongside the level, you get a rather handy universal mount. This base attached to the level with a standard ¼” screw that you find on most tripod stands. Next to this is a larger 3/8” screw hole that you might find on more industrial size tripods or stands. The protection rating is listed as IP54, which means it’s protected against dust ingress, but not exactly waterproof. It’s going to be fine in a rain shower, but don’t expect to be able to drop the laser in a pool of water without damage. Operation This efficient laser level performed well in several of our tests, especially for a medium-priced option. It includes a highly visible three-beam crossing line and had a more visible line than some other models. They’re pretty accurate, but they need to be because this isn’t a self-levelling laser device. This inexpensive laser level is good for small projects and has several useful features like cross lines, automatic leveling, and an included carrying case. This product has a durable design and is also available as a green laser level as well for greater visibility. It can also be set to a manual-adjustment mode if needed. There’s also the “crisp and very visible” green lines produced by the level, which are “easy to see in a brighter light” than red lines, and “broadcast a long way”—up to 100 feet. There’s even an included remote control with rechargeable batteries to make handling the level as simple as possible, as well as a portable bag, mini tripod, magnetic base, and more. Truly, this level has everything you need for those larger-than-average projects. Tile Laser Level – A tile laser level is mainly used for installing floor tiles – which means it is a lot of expense unless you are going to be doing this regularly. Make sure to give your laser level half a chance of being accurate, by placing it on the most level surface you can find (even if it is self-levelling it will usually only do this to a degree). Then simply point the device and laser at the wall/floor/surface that you are wanting to work with and switch on. For some models, there will be additional settings to work with, such as the angle of the line that you are wanting. The dual beam lasers are high power class 2 red ones that self-level within 4 degrees. But the feature I really like is the plumb mark. The laser can fire out a pair of highly visible dots that are perfectly plumb through the top and bottom of the unit. I don’t have to tell you how often this will come in handy. Most entry-level models are accurate to around one-fourth of an inch at 30 feet, which is accurate enough for most household tasks. However, if you’re doing more precise work, such as laying tile on your floors, you’ll want a laser level that’s accurate to around one-eighth of an inch at 30 feet. Range/Visibility

The original laser level colour, they’re reliably accurate and not expensive, but their range is limited, and these laser levels can be hard to see in bright areas and almost impossible outside. Green Lasers Green laser levels have a longer working range than red lasers and are brighter and easier to use outdoors. However, they are that much more expensive.
