About this deal

We were recently invited along to meet with Quinny at The Baby Show, for a special top secret buggy review mission. We were given the new model of the Moodd to try out while we were there, and have been reviewing it for the past few weeks. So here’s what we thought (you can also read my iCandy Raspberry review, Britax Affinity review and Armadillo Flip XT review) No more struggling with complicated unfolding procedures, especially if you are carrying your baby in your hand and getting off the cab! Maxi Coxi carseat adaptors are included, so you don’t have to fork out extra for these – and it fits the Stage 1 Maxi Cosi carseats The Maxi-Cosi infant car seat provides seamless and easy transfers from the car to the streets. And what more can I complain about the stylish and futuristic looks of the Quinny Moodd stroller and its uber cool unfold mechanism? The caveats would probably be its weight, bulkiness and the moderately sized canopy.

As the seat is wipe-clean only, you should choose the darker-toned stroller if you are afraid of stain marks on the stroller over the years of usage. When matched with a Maxi-Cosi Mico AP baby car seat, transferring your child from the car out to the Quinny stroller becomes a breeze. The Quinny Moodd is a stylish pushchair that offers comfort for baby and unfolds automatically at the push of a button. This 3 wheel pushchair is suitable from birth & easy to use with the Maxi-Cosi baby car seat to form a Quinny Moodd Travel system, or even a stylish pram with the Quinny Carrycot. The shoulder pads are well-cushioned to ensure comfort, but may seem a little bulky for the smaller babies. The 2015 Moodd model now has the harness padding color coded to match the rest of the stroller. All items are sent via Australia Post eParcel service, Australia Post Express eParcel, Aramex or Direct Freight Express Courier Service. Like many other luxury strollers, this Quinny stroller does not feature a peek-a-boo window which is such a pity as I would love to see what my little one is doing from time to time. What Other Accessories Can I Get For My Brand New Quinny Stroller? The seat of the Moodd stroller is pretty roomy. Worried that your child will not fit? Here’s the seat specifications: The casing on the seat unit reflects the glossy plastic used on the rear wheels. It gives such a ‘car showroom' finish to the overall look but you must remember to treat it carefully, scratches are going to be as noticeable as a keyed car on the Moodd.

The Moodd maneuverability is good. It’s pretty light and effortless to push on a smooth ground or if you have a smaller child onboard. However, if you have a child near the weight limit, you’ll definitely need both hands. Hence, it can even serve as a stand-alone nap spot for your little one at home or outdoor, without being attached to the Moodd chassis.

Eliza loved being higher up, and the padded t-bar at the front. I suspect she likes to think she’s driving it Basket is pretty much useless you can hardly put anything in it and when you do it pushes the weight of the item all the way (from hitting that front wheel) and hits that wheel which makes the swooshing sound and makes the basket dusty and dirty. The Quinny Moodd is strong, stable and robust. It’s light to push and easy to steer, even one handed. The air tyres means it’s a very smooth rideThe beautiful baby nest matches the red in the seat but is lined with a contrasting coral orange jersey which includes a zip-in head rest and foot bumper. The straps all thread through the holes in the bottom to keep your baby safe, plus the top can be completely zipped off for warmer days. Although it is very attractive, there is not enough side protection afforded by the pushchair for my liking, so personally, I would probably opt to buy the new collapsible carrycot that fits the Moodd. I can safely conclude that this is a good Moodd. Quinny have taken one of their most popular models and brought it right up to date adding some nice touches and improving on previous weaknesses. Besides looking trendy and being comfortably plush, the Quinny carrycot is also designed to protect the little ones from the wind and the Sun, and shelter their sensitive eyes from the Sun. There’s a padded apron that zips over the top, as well as an adjustable canopy with an additional pull out Sun visor.
