It was just what she wanted. I was a bit overwhelmed when I opened the box and saw that there were 655 pieces to assemble. That is not an exaggeration it says so on the box. It took me a few hours to put it together. It is not for the easily discouraged. The instructions were actually pretty good. It was step by step 3D drawings and fairly clear if you have ever put together Lego sets or models. I was really impressed by the amount of details in the castle. For example the chandelier was multiple pieces and colors. There are multiple spiral stairs, operating windows, gates and doors. If you can endure the assembly the castle is pretty awesome.

My daughter is absolutely in love. Setup took about 45 minutes but it was a super fun project for my daughter and me. The little characters are about 2-3 inches tall and we love the little outfits that can be changed. She loves the little carriage and horses. It is pretty large once out together. If you’re planning on moving it after the fact, think again. It is large enough to set on a standard tv table and will likely fall apart if you try to move it. Overall, it is the perfect gift for a little creative mind and the selection of rooms that come in it make for hours of fun!
