About this deal

My 10 year old son, Kaiden, asks for a new Nerf gun or toy pretty much every year. Or twice a year – for birthdays and Christmas. And while my Nerf fanatic doesn’t always get one, he does have quite the Nerf gun collection. If you’re looking for some activities to keep the kids from being bored, I have a list of 50+ activities to keep them busy! Since the debut of the first foam ball from Nerf in 1969, it’s a most trusted brand and well-liked by parents and kids, so buying a Nerf blaster isn’t a dernier cri among kids. Owing to providing safety and great toys to kids and adults, Nerf’s the most well-known trade name in the toy industry. We’ve divided his Nerf toys so that he has some guns here at our house and others at his dad’s. We also tossed Nerf guns that have broken, and donated a few before we moved to Georgia this past summer. Still, the basket we had used to store his weapons was overflowing.

Every birthday, Christmas or trip to Kmart to spend his allowance usually results in another gun. And where does my son keep this growing gaggle of guns? In the super expensive toy box I bought for him? Neatly piled in his massive closet? Of course not. That would be too logical. Our storage area has a wall of wooden planks, so I didn’t need to worry about drilling into drywall or using drywall anchors. I had some of these wood screws on hand that fit perfectly into the pegboard mounting holes. So I bought a few more and got to work! You can use anything from simple metal wire hooks to S hooks and hang accessories in a bag. 11. Okay so the guns are out of the way. And looking extremely organised. Now what to do with those darts? If you go the clever shoe hanging bag option (shown above), just use a couple of pouches for the bullets. Otherwise, you can use different containers around the house to store your endless supply of bullets. Like a tool box or old lunch box, for example.
