These modifications have had a positive impact on the course while allowing learners to be assessed on the appropriate skills, knowledge and understanding. The events will focus on the Physics coursework that is returning for session 2023-24. They are mainly aimed at teachers and lecturers who are delivering the coursework for the first time.

Question paper 1 (Analysis of Media Content) - in section 1, learners only need to answer one question from questions 1 and 2. They no longer need to answer both questions. This reduces the marks in this section. Learners will complete unit assessments that are internally marked by the teacher or lecturer and assessed as pass or fail. The course will be assessed as pass or fail and will be quality assured by SQA In the exam, learners are required to apply their knowledge to current national and global economic issues. However, these issues vary each year due to changes in the economic and political landscape. Publishing the list of topics each year will enable schools, colleges and learners to focus on these specific economic issues during the course and when preparing for the exam.Here are the Intermediate 2 Physics Papers. The table isn’t yet complete, but you might want to start looking over some questions. Many of these could pop up on National 5 papers. Int 2 Papers The exam and assignment will be marked by SQA. The practical activity will be internally marked by teachers or lecturers and quality assured by SQA. We will grade the course from A to D. The reduced exam has proven to be effective at assessing learners on the appropriate range of skills, knowledge and understanding from across the course. The question papers will be marked by SQA. The performance will be marked by an SQA visiting assessor appointed by SQA. We will grade the course from A to D.

In section 3 of the exam, learners give a performance analysis of a theatrical production that they have seen live or recorded. We are removing the rule that this performance must have taken place in the last two years. Schools and colleges can choose to use a live performance, a live-streamed performance, a recorded ‘live’ theatrical performance or a historical performance.
