About this deal

The contrast and brightness of the 240Hz 1ms monitor are discussed in detail in this MSI Optix MAG251RX Review. Essentially, this gaming monitor tones down that gaming aesthetic to a subtler shade and powers up instead on the features that help with gaming performance.

I dont care about colors, I only care about visibility in games, having too much good colors can distract you in games actually.I have a dell p2217h IPS monitor (60hz) and comparing with my vg259qm, after tweaking my vg259qm, the colors look much nicer compared to my Dell. Maybe because i did not bother to tweak my dell colors as its just a work monitor. The dell has a slight bluish tint to it and my vg259qm looks white with no grainy effect at all. If we think about the benefits it delivers, it is quite a logical cost, but we can say that for being 24.5 inches, perhaps it is a bit high. Lastly, the MSI MAG251RX supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) and carries VESA’s entry-level DisplayHDR 400 certification, which is essentially meaningless. Nor are we going to have any curvature, making the necessary depth for its installation to be about 180-200 mm.

Colors The most important variable when it comes to buying an IPS monitor. Winner=MSI MAG 251rx by a MILE.

So... even if I play around 160~fps you suggest to always use 280 HZ with 80 overdrive? for best compromise? we talking here about competive fps shooter games. I do not think I need ELMB with 280hz, elmb shows visible ghosting on ufo's test, which I didn't see them without ELMB, and the motion blur was still fine. MSI has announced its first display that uses a Fast IPS panel, which boasts a 240 Hz refresh rate. Like many gaming LCDs, the Optix MAG251RX is NVIDIA G-Sync compatible as well as VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. Meanwhile, unlike most gaming monitors, the new product comes with a USB-C input. viewsonic elite xg270 by a landslide(tuned by chief himself), the least crosstalk and super clear image. Rivals that of the #1 ranked MPRT monitor ASUS at 280hz The design is designed so that the base at no time protrudes from the screen; in fact, it stays exactly in line when we place the screen completely vertical. However, while Anti Motion Blur is active, the screen’s maximum brightness is reduced, and you cannot use it at the same time as FreeSync/G-SYNC.

Information about the maximum horizontal viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. You can elevate the screen of the monitor up to 130mm and tilt it by -5°/20°, but you cannot swivel or pivot the screen. Alternatively, you can mount the screen via the 100x100mm VESA pattern. In our particular case, the experience and fluency are worthwhile and are worth trying if we are dedicated to e-sports. Approximate width of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the width is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio. Even the fastest TN panels with sub-1ms GtG response time don’t really have an average pixel response time of 1ms GtG.But if we come from a larger monitor, obviously inexperienced and immersion, it cannot compete as it is a 24.5-inch panel. It also implements AMD FreeSync dynamic refresh technology with certification of compatibility with Nvidia G-Sync, something that we have verified with positive results.
