God do I love Oliver.. he’s such an amazing person inside and out!! He has been through so much and I couldn’t be prouder seeing him grow as a person and living a normal live after having been kidnapped for 22 year!! He deserves the world and nothing less!! Possibly not known as SWAT analysis then but an acute awareness of limitations and creativity to overcome and turn to advantage

Most people think they know the story of the 'Lotus bike'. A British sports car firm crashes the staid sport of cycling, creates an aerodynamic superbike, and grabs gold at the Olympics. Oh yes, and Chris Boardman was the 'pilot'. I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA LOVE THIS BOOK BC IT HAD ME CRYING IN CHAPTER ONE. WE STARTED OFF SO GOOD. like idek these characters and im already crying?? impossible! but then it only went downhill from there and my temporary period of insanity passed, bc thats the only thing that would explain me crying. i didnt shed a single tear afterwards. bc i could not find a single bone in my body that cared about these characters or their storyline. even oliver was doing nothing for me after 2/3 of the book. he couldn't even carry me all the way. If you’re looking for smexy scenes, this is probably not the book for you. There are a few, but this is slow burn, and all of them happen for a reason. Because of Oliver, yes, but also because of Sydney. Because sex with someone you’ve always loved is a different kind. Chapman understood this requirement and the Lotus Mk.VI chassis was designed not to flex or bend and thus improve performance. When he finally tore down those walls they were lost in each other, where they should’ve been all along. ChengYi brings Li lianhua to life. His appearance and clothing style is very lianhua I read in the novel. Simple and less stand out when he’s in crowd because lianhua gave less prominent aura compared to when he was Li xiangyi. Cunning and less ambitious because he already accepted his fate as no longer the number1 in Jianghu world but as a person who only has one year to live. Joseph Zhang the youngest among the trio irl and in this drama, the most cheerful and most ambitious and I think he played it brilliantly. Xiao Shun Yao as Di Feisheng, the enemy turn friend of Lianhua also bring justice to his character. The trio chemistry is very good and funny as the story goes on and sometimes I cannot stop smiling.Personally, I appreciate the drama’s dedication to providing copious details for each case, thus allowing viewers to dive deep into the mysteries being solved. I occasionally appreciate the intricacies of detective work, if it’s well executed, so MLC has been a rewarding watch for me. I swear I can hear his heartbeat in my ears. Or maybe it’s mine. Maybe it’s both of our heartbeats, beating in perfect rhythm, together as one, and maybe they always have been." It's divine love that outlives time, distance and relations. I'd recommend to everyone to go BINGE READ her books, like I've done. Soak in the literary glorious sunshine. Then there’s this: “She’s different than the other streetwalkers—reserved, even defiant, Lotus holds her secrets behind her red smile.” Ugh. Honestly. Again, it begins with Lotus as a complex, normal person. Bing sees her as the golden-hearted prostitute, the one he can save. Unfortunately, that’s sort of what happens. Lotus becomes this symbol of purity, wearing white, children-associated, moving closer to Buddhism… She becomes alienated from the other prostitutes. This book had a chance to really benefit from the interesting and distinct female characters that Zhang creates. Yet instead, it dovetails into a lot of woman-hate. Lotus vs. Bing’s ex-wife, Lotus vs. Bing’s ex-lover, Bing vs. her cousin… And then there’s the other thing. Her “secrets.” (TW: Sexual assault.) So about halfway through the book, Lotus thinks (in her head) about the shame of losing her virginity when drugged and raped, and how that’s how she ending up entering the sex worker world. But I was confused. Earlier in the novel I read that she had sex with someone in the factory earlier in her life than that? Oh well. I let it go. Then, late in the book, she admits to Bing that she was never raped (sigh), and that she lost her virginity earlier (I know), and that she entered the sex worker business willingly and apparently should apologize to Bing for that. And Bing accepts and thinks to himself that he had already doubted her story? What? I was disappointed with every part of this storyline.
