Lotso makes an appearance in the video game as a non-playable character, where he greets the toys when they arrive at Sunnyside in the Butterfly Room level in storymode. He is also the host of the enchanted glen in toybox mode. Lotso was originally supposed to appear in the first film, but the technology needed to create his fur had not existed until the third film. A pink teddy bear that appears to be an early prototype of Lotso makes a brief appearance in Toy Story.
