This book is different from other books in the King of Sin and Twisted series because although Kai is a billionaire who will soon inherit an empire, he is not your typical morally-grey men. Instead, Kai is quiet and shy. I liked this book and loved both Kai & Isa as characters but I was more interested in the side characters. I enjoyed the book but half of the time I was wondering about the others. Maybe I’ll give it a 5-star rating someday. I still think I got a lil bit generous 😭 I liked King Of Wrath more than this book because it had some angst and groveling in it. I live for this shit. But the relationship was healthy & ✨Perfect✨, hence no groveling hehe. i loved isabella. she was so funny and real - like who hasn’t felt like a directionless orb at one point or another in their adulthood, let’s be real. The Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang is truly a standout in my reading list so far, and I simply cannot wait for the next one! ‘King of Pride’ hit store shelves on August 22, 2023

I'm so happy that Kai and Isa found each other and worked their differences and fell in love. As we know about Ana Huang, she can write some steamy books.. and ‘King of Pride’ had some very steamy moments. But the romance and connection between the two main characters was even more amazing and I loved every single moment in this book. And you know what was also really fun? The Buffy reference. I knew I loved Ana Huang’s writing, but that made it even better.
Finishing April with a BANG!!!! Like… how can I not give this book 5 stars!! It was everything I wanted it to be! Spicy, fun, interesting and so so soooo romantic and the tension was also so freaking good ugh (both romantically and sexually hehe)…. I had guessed all the couples after reading KOW but Ana introduced us to so many new characters. 🫣 ALSO I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THERE ARE 7 BOOKS IN THIS SERIES! HAJABSKKAKAA 💃✨✨At first glance, he might appear soft, all quiet politeness and scholarly charm, but he had the body of a fighter.
