People who don't like br540 may find similar qualities in atomic Rose that makes them not like this one. To me, they are very different and not redundant. I know atomic Rose is more closely compared to delina, and it is similar without the tart sharpness. As the name suggests, this is a (unisex) rose based scent and contains a blend of natural Bulgarian rose and natural Turkish rose. Performance is excellent. Blessed Baraka is an EDP and projects just over arm’s length for about 1.5 to 3 hours leaving a nice scent trail… The Absolutes focus on high quality raw natural ingredients that have been blended to create super unique fragrances. The Magnetic Blends Collection A number of ppl are calling this a 90% dupe for AR. Listen, hear me good….No. Amethyst and Initio Atomic Rose have some clear similarities but some big differences. There is no hedione in the opening, so it is much less green on the initial blast and throughout. It does not give that freshly cut freshness that AR does. It also has smooth and rich oud added, taking a note from Delina Exclusif, the oud is done similarly and, though there is more, it is very approachable while also giving this fragrance an addictive interesting personality.

My first thought when applying this - wow Delina! Less tart (no rhubarb) and more sour. Unfortunately, the resemblance to Delina lasted only 30 mins to 1 hour (while the top notes were still pleasant). Afterwards, nothing good to report. This is super long lasting! Atomic Rose is an EDP and jumps off your skin for the first few hours (up to 6 feet) leaving a gorgeous scent trail. At the same time, a citrusy, nutty blend cuts down the overwhelming fruitiness and presents a moderately sweet, pungent top. I know, I know, I'm already hard to please when it comes to perfume but I just can't warm up to Initio.... Now, the star of the show is the rose, and as it dries down it’s joined with a hint of vanilla that leaves you with a beautiful fresh sweet peppery citrusy rose.This is an EDP and projects nicely (just over arm’s length) for the first few hours leaving a gorgeous scent trail. MFK OSM: Again another rose-vanilla -scent (I like that combination, don't get me wrong). This is the strongest one of these all scents which you maybe should sample before your decision to buy FB. This scent is the beast and you definitely doesn't have to re-spray it during the day. This has all in the balance: vanilla, rose, oud and powdery accords. This I found out a little bit synthetic in the beginning and I was thinking this is not for me but this is really addicting scent. After few days I felt in love. Some people say that they find out oud too loud but I think it's really not. Anyway this whole scent is loud, in everything and this is in the same time the most unique I think. I will compare these few same kind of scents because I find it useful while trying to choose new scents for testing or even blind buys. I don't recommend bb for anyone even if I have many successful blind buys. In the lingering hours, you might find the scent's presence dwindling like stars at dawn, giving rise to the question, "Has it vanished, or have I become too ensconced in its charm?" This olfactory conundrum is akin to a magic act; it's there, then it's not, only to reappear when you least expect it. My girlfriend smells it in my room but sometimes I no longer feel it after a few sprays. So first of all, Baccarat I do not smell, not even if I use my usually good imagination. Delina. Hmm, maybe a teeny tiny whiff but if then Delina la Rose, none of the other two. If you imagine Delina La Rose very very diluted and then think of how a very fresh bouquet of bright red roses smells, just when you open the paper, so quite green and very fresh, you have a good idea of Atomic Rose.

Atomic Rose opens with a HUGE blast of rose with a pinch of sparkling bergamot citrus and pink pepper. I suppose the mixing (or watering down for some) of classic oriental rose-woody fragrances with more classic western scent profiles with a splash of something special (in this case the hedione) is a major trend, especially with the most best-selling niche fragrances (the Delinas, Rose Rebatchi, one or two Kayalis - if you can call Kayali niche...) I finally got to travel a bit and had the chance to test these fragrances - only available through blind-buy- mail where I live - and ... I understand this is a major trend and it's nice to have something more or less new to establish itself among the designers, but ... for me, personally, these are just Ok scents and I cannot quite understand the pricing nor the novelty. This is a beast mode fragrance and is soooooo good, but I wouldn’t recommend for a blind buy. Smooth, sweet, deep and heavy. The vanilla and oud in this really intertwine so well with the rose, and the quality is great for the price. In the dry down, it does bear resemblance to AR, but the journey is not the same at all. It’s worth the trip for me to have both… I’m obsessed with this one. I consider both of them UNISEX but if you are really sensitive about this, i'd say Amethyst is really really slightly leaning more feminine then Oud for Glory but then again, ever so slightly. I think Amethyst would generally be more appreciated by a female nose then Oud for Glory yet i doubt a man would find Amethyst feminine. None of the two are girly-girl perfumes thats for sure.This is part of the brands Carnal Blends collection, and with a name like “Psychedelic Love,” you’re probably wondering… Atomic Rose starts directly with the incredibly beautiful, strong and full rose. It has here almost a fruity character and is harmoniously accompanied by bergamot - which I can perceive but only faintly - and pepper - for me about 30 minutes really present. Always apply the fragrance to your pulse points, and Initio always advise not to rub it in; always pat it in to let the molecules settle.
