Only later did I read this message on a forum (sorry it's in italian) and I imagined that the problem was not having loaded the new webui 11.0.2.1 (W2SP5C7110) along with the firmware.

Tried EE with myfi device and found the signal to be almost as fast as my amplified Vodafone network. Got the huawei b818-263 and straight out of the box was almost twice as fast as my Vodafone network. Fastest dl with to-link and Vodafone was 64mbs but averaged about mid 40s across the house. With the huawei placed in the attic it covers the whole house and garden with top dl of 91mbs.
