After the release of Wave for Her and Him in 2016, American lifestyle brand Hollister (which belongs to Abercrombie & Fitch) under Interparfums announces the new summer duo for the season of 2017 - Wave 2 For Her and Wave 2 For Him. With top notes of tangerine, peach and coconut nectar; heart notes of water lilies, roses, Tahitian gardenia, and freesia; and base notes of driftwood, sand, and orchid, what you have is a juvenile and radiant scent that gets heads turning your way and more compliments than you can count.Hollister Co. stores have a distinct appearance and are designed to simulate the look and feel of a Southern California surf shop. Many feature shuttered windows, small boardwalks and dark paneled interiors. It’s for a man who doesn’t take himself too seriously but wants to let people know he looks after himself. He’s probably the group leader, deciding which bands to see and making sure everyone is having a good time. They are also versatile so you do not have to worry about getting multiple scents for different occasions unless you can afford that luxury.

With this perfume’s moderate trail, you can expect it to last on you for a good number of hours and so you still smell good all day without having to reuse. Wave 2 For Him is announced as an energetic summer fragrance, created for adventurous and bright young men. It belongs to the family of aromatic - fougere - woody scents. Bergamot and white pepper make the fresh start of the composition together with an accord of salty sea air, which is refracted into the classical aromatic heart of lavender, geranium and sage. Woods, including sandalwood, and musk wrap the perfume up forming the base.

Just be aware that not all Hollister scents are created equal. Wave 2, for example, is a pretty underwhelming fragrance that is overly sweet, and doesn’t project very well at all. Which Hollister cologne smells best? This Hollister perfume has a good projection but isn’t harsh on the senses so you can comfortably wear this without making those around you feel like running away. Wave 2 is a denser and more confused version of its predecessor that isn’t sure whether it’s a summer cologne or a manly musk bomb – and sort of fails to achieve either in the process. Wave is a personal favorite of mine that is best for summertime. This fresh aquatic fragrance is very refreshing on hot days, with a bamboo opening and a soapy-clean drydown. How long does Hollister cologne last? Despite being overly powerful for the first 20 minutes, it clings to the skin pretty much the whole time after that. Not good enough for me when there are plenty of other great options from Hollister – I’d much prefer the original Wave. Top Notes:

Wearing Sadie means you’ll smell like nobody else, so you’ll get to own the scent and get good attention. Crescent Bay is not a complex scent as it possesses few elements, but it gives you great value for your money with its perfect blend. Wave 2 has a youthful scent that is best for young women who love being out in the sun and who embrace freedom.Wave 2 For Her is aimed to be for playful, radiant and flirtatious girls. It draws warm energy from the sun and is reminiscent of the days of summer with exotic aromas of flowers and fruits. The top notes include sunny peach, coconut water and mandarin, while the floral notes of the heart mix water lily, pink freesia and tiare flower. The base contains warm accords of driftwood, white sand and orchid. The whole process is smooth and relaxing. Wave is all about easy-breezy good times -and keeps things relatively simple The opening is a dash of sharp, zingy citrus – like a twist of lime in soda water. It’s energizing and invigorating and screams sunshine. But underneath it all, you have got a rugged and earthy undertone of beach driftwood. Some of my favorites, like Jake and Wave, smell as though they could cost 2 or 3 times as much as they actually were, and comfortably compete with mid-range brands like Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss for me. This spicy-sweet fragrance is daring and fresh. I sprayed it at 8 pm before I went out and I could still smell the base woods notes on myself the next morning.
