About this deal

In Belladonna, Adalyn Grace has crafted a darkly romantic tale that will sweep readers away. This decadent world and forbidden love story are a perfect, addicting escape.”— Adrienne Young, New York Times bestselling author of Fable Fate was entirely interesting. I really liked his story and even though I don't love or agree with some of his choices I also felt empathy for him and could appreciate his point of view of things.

after reading Belladonna last year, i was so excited for Foxglove. it was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and i truly didn’t even consider disliking it since Belladonna was such a beautiful favourite of mine— it was gothic and romantic, intelligent and beautiful. and the ending opened a door to a new fascinating story in Foxglove. Having discovered her power as a reaper and fallen in love with Death, Signa Farrow’s strange life was finally starting to make sense. But with a duke dead and Signa’s uncle Elijah arrested for murder within the opening chapters of Foxglove, life at Thorn Grove is thrown into chaos once more. And as far as Signa and Death are concerned, there’s one person to blame: Death’s temperamental brother, Fate. Convinced that Signa is the love of his life and not his brother’s (for reasons too spoilery to include here), Fate saunters into society with the sole intention of making Signa his wife. His hate for his brother is a palpable thing but he underestimates Signa’s own power, as well as the shrewdness and resilience of Blythe, who instantly takes umbrage to the new ‘Prince’ on the scene.

There will not be any ARCs for Foxglove, either digital or physical. My team and I really want to keep everything a surprise, and have everyone read it simultaneously once it's released :) No one outside of my team and a a very small handful of people will be reading it before it's out!

This book! I liked Belladonna but I loved Foxglove, in my opinion Grace really took it up a notch here. Signa and her cousin Blythe are certain that Fate can save Elijah Hawthorne from wrongful imprisonment if the girls will entertain Fate’s presence. But the more time they spend with him, the more frightening their reality becomes, as Signa exhibits dramatic new powers that link her to Fate’s past. With mysteries and danger around every corner, the cousins must decide whomthey can trust as they navigate their futures in high society, unravel the murders that haunt their family, and play Fate’s unexpected games—all with their destinies hanging in the balance. We'll have none of that. You may have reign over the dead and dying, but let's not forget that it's my hand that controls the fates and the living. For as long as she breathes, this one is mine." Unfortunately, no. As enticing as it may sound, it does not feel like it's Signa and Death's story any more - the two characters that really made the first book shine. We fell in love with the gothic atmosphere and forbidden romance in Belladonna by Adalyn Grace when we featured it in our September ‘Farewell My Love’ YA box last year. We’re so excited to share our matching Exclusive Edition of the sequel, Foxglove! and here’s another reason i loved her and was infuriated with everyone else… again, this is a spoiler, so beware :)
