About this deal

How does it work? It’s easy-peasy! Boil fresh water, measure formula powder, fill RapidCool with hot water, add formula powder, and mix well, turning it upside down for at least 5 seconds. Then simply wait for the digital display to show a green Nuby logo and dispense the feed into your sterilised baby bottle. A 120ml feed will be ready to serve in only 2 minutes*. No cold-water baths to cool a bottle down, no having to reheat a made-up bottle, no worrying about making a feed correctly. Just a safe feed to NHS guidelines, day and night.

It’s fine to put in ready-made cold formula milk in a thermos, as well as manually prepared milk which has been allowed to cool down. Just make sure that it is consumed in a reasonable amount of time and definitely not more than 6 hours later. Frozen milk can last longer. As your baby grows, and their mouth widens, NUK also sells a range of larger teats and bottles in the Nature Sense range, which we also highly recommend. Silicone suits most babies and is the most commonly found material used in modern baby bottle teats, but traditional latex has its adherents and you may find your baby prefers a softer rubber teat to more durable silicone versions. With an orthodontically-shaped teat, plenty of Mumsnet users will attest that they're easier than other bottles for breastfed babies to latch on to. Milk flows with minimal effort from the baby - which is why they're often used in NICU wards - and there's an anti-colic valve to prevent air bubbles. This is a solid bottle that handled to all our tests brilliantly. The plastic bottle, base and lid are all made from BPA- and BPS-free plastic, and the teat is hygienic silicone, with different sizes to prevent too fast a flow.

New parents have so much to think about when the little one arrives and making a bottle is one of them. It sounds like a breeze but when your baby is hungry, they’ll let you know about it in great volume! When the pressure is on, it’s difficult to remember the NHS guidelines for preparing a formula feed, but we’ve got you covered. Keep an eye on the teat to make sure it’s always full of milk, not air (this helps prevent swallowing too much air, which can lead to reflux or colic). If the pressure in the bottle builds up so the teat goes flat, the NHS recommends inserting a little finger gently in the corner of your baby’s mouth to release it. Keep an eye on the silicone teats. If they degrade, get damaged or are bitten through, they’ll need replacing immediately so as not to present a choking hazard. Each bottle range comes with its own advantages, meaning it’s worth thinking about how often you’re going to be using your bottles when making a choice. Even if you’re planning to breastfeed, it can be worth having a couple of bottles on hand; a bottle of expressed or formula feed can be more convenient when you head out in public, and handing off a nighttime or early morning feed to your partner can work wonders for your mental state in the early months. If you’re planning to bottle-feed, you’ll need enough bottles for eight feeds a day. If you’re combi-feeding or just want an emergency standby, a few bottles will suffice. Makes between 90ml (3oz) and 240ml (8oz) feeds in line with all formula brand recommendations, perfect for a newborn on smaller feeds or for growing babies on larger feedsNew parents have so many things to think about when their little one arrives, and making a bottle is one of them. It sounds like a breeze, but when your baby is hungry you can be sure they’ll let you know about it in great volume! When the pressure is on, it’s difficult to remember the NHS guidelines for preparing a formula feed, but not to worry - we've got you covered. As a parent to an eight-, six- and two-year-old, all of whom were combination-fed as babies, Rachel has years of experience using a wide variety of baby equipment, including baby bottles. Bottle use is so subjective that what works with one baby might not work with another, so our tester Katrĩna, a mum of two, spent several weeks washing bottles repeatedly, filling them, sterilising them, and testing their solidity and safety.

Perfect for travelling babies and parents, the MAM Self-Sterilising baby bottles can be sterilised in just three minutes using a microwave. Pour 20ml water in the base of the container, arrange the components on the top (don't screw!) and in minutes your baby's bottles are safe to use.

But…if you’re here because you want a literal Thermos flask then out of all the models they make we think the ‘King’ stainless steel food flask is the most versatile for parents to use for their baby or toddler. It has a wide mouth so it may not be perfect to store milk but with the right bottle and utensils you can easily pour it out into a proper container. It’s one of the best food containers which keeps food hot or cold for 9 and 14 hours with a giant brand name behind it. Meet the most innovative way of preparing formula feeds with the NEW RapidCool™ formula feeding kit that cools down your formula milk to optimum temperature in just 2 minutes* to NHS guidelines! Just WOW. They’re designed to help the baby drink while being as upright as possible as there’s some evidence that pressure in the bottle creates negative pressure in the mouth, causing fluid build-up in the middle ear when lying flat. This could potentially lead to ear infections. Usually this means using the bottle with an alternative top – a sippy spout for a toddler and an adult bottle top for an older child, which you’ll probably need to buy separately. Bottles that can do this (Hegen, Twistshake and Pura Kiki, for example) tend to be made of tough, long-lasting materials – a fact often reflected in their price. How much do baby bottles cost? Meet the most innovative way of preparing formula feeds with the NEW RapidCool™ that cools down formula milk to the perfect temperature in just 2 minutes* to NHS guidelines.
