About this deal

The Ultra Repair Cream is rated 4.7/5 stars by 3.4K customers on Sephora. A customer who loved this cream for her body wrote:

If you have super-duper dry, sensitive skin, redness, itchiness, or eczema—or if you’re just looking for a great all-around everyday hydrating cream… go for the OG. (It’s worth noting that it can also be used on your body! The tub is a larger size and a little goes a long way.) When it comes to hydrating moisturizers, First Aid Beauty knows their stuff. This one gets an enthusiastic thumbs up from me. Aqua/Water/Eau, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Niacinamide, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate Se,Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Colloidal Oatmeal, Squalane, Phenoxyethanol, Soluble Collagen, Caprylyl Glycol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Propanediol, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Chrysanthemum Parthenium Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Ceramide NP, Sodium Benzoate, Diamond Powder, Tetrasodium EDTA, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Pentapeptide-34 Trifluoroacetate. Personally, I almost think of the Firming Collagen Cream as Ultra Repair Cream’s sophisticated older sister. She’s similar to the original, but she’s a little more focused on maintaining her youthful appearance by building collagen, and increasing firmness and elasticity. The original Ultra Repair CreamThe Facial Radiance Pads have been rated with an average of 4.5/5 stars by 1,370 customers on FirstAidBeauty.com. A customer with sensitive skin who spoke of the product’s effectiveness wrote: The Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream is rated an average of 4.4/5 stars from 705 people on Influenster. One customer who speaks of the product’s texture and effectiveness wrote: this is the best I’ve tried. My skin is very sensitive, and these are gentle enough that my face doesn’t feel irritated after using them. Within a few days of using these regularly, morning and night, my face is so much clearer and the redness is greatly reduced.” Next up in this First Aid Beauty review, we’ll take you through all the brand’s pros, followed by a couple of cons. Pros

So when I heard they had added a new moisturizer to the Ultra Repair family, I was very excited to try it. Below, I’m sharing my review of First Aid Beauty’s new(ish!) Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream ReviewCollagen is having a moment. In case you've somehow missed the influencers, celebrities, and wellness brands raving about adding collagen powders to their smoothies or taking a supplement, the ingredient is praised for minimizing the signs of aging like wrinkles and loss of elasticity as well as promoting healthier hair. All of this is to say that I’m a huge fan of the brand, and a big believer in the products they create. Collagen has a large molecular size, which can make it difficult to penetrate past the skin barrier. That being said, innovations in formulas can make the surface of the skin appear plumper. Some formulas also include the use of collagen peptides, which can penetrate the skin deeper as well as other collagen-supporting ingredients—like vitamin C and retinol. Peptides: they can help stimulate your skin to produce more collagen, which ultimately helps give the appearance of smoother skin and fewer fine lines and wrinkles The idea of collagen creams seems magical. Like, we know that in your body, collagen is a protein that's responsible for firming and tightening your skin—so the more topical collagen, the merrier, right? Not exactly. Unfortunately, the molecules in topical collagen are too big to penetrate the skin's surface, so the collagen ends up sitting on top and just moisturizing your skin, says board-certified dermatologist Kristina Collins, MD—which, hey, isn’t a bad thing! But if you actually want to encourage collagen production in your skin, you’ll want to look for a cream filled with tried-and-true collagen boosters too, like retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides, and AHAs.

If you hope to achieve bright and plump skin with a collagen cream, look for additional ingredients like hyaluronic acid, squalane, and niacinamide that are known for their hydrating and brightening abilities.Even just a light application makes my skin feel hydrated, bouncy, and firm, and I know with continued use, those benefits will only multiply.
