About this deal

I'm french, and i took it in QWERTY but it's not a problem because the UK layout and keys size are the same than in France.

The collapsible feet: Initially I was concerned they might be weak, but they're actually pretty sturdy and give a good angle at their fixed height. I've never had one give way while typing, or go loose while moving the keyboard. The most famous line of Filco keyboards in the West is the Majestouch line. The Majestouch line has had one major revision and many minor ones. There also have been a number of limited edition variants produced. Let’s have a look at the most interesting ones. For years I used a (now discontinued) Cooler Master Storm XT with Cherry MX Brown switches, until it finally wore out recently. I needed a replacement that would not only be a joy to type on, but would also be something that I could use in a professional setting, and potentially use with workclient laptops which would not allow installation of additional driver software. After quite a search I narrowed down the choice to the Filco Majestouch 2, and I am rather happy with it. There are plenty of things to love with Filco’s keyboards. They design and manufacture their keyboards to perfection, which easily justifies their high-price tag. Furthermore, the way how they prioritize the typing experience of their keyboards easily makes Filco’s offerings a step above competing gaming keyboards. Filco keyboards are a Japanese brand manufactured by the Diatec Corporation based in Tokyo’s Chiyoda-ku neighborhood. Diatec Corporation was established on June 17th, 1982.Overall I’m particularly impressed with the build quality, it’s a proper heavyweight keyboard and it’ll pretty much survive what ever you put it through, including a bath! So yeah, i'm looking for a nice keyboard, mechanical this time, great for code but also for gaming. This keyboard was the perfect match, so i took it. And lastly, it is compatible with both PS/2 and USB. Using it over PS/2 allows users to maximize its N-Key rollover potential. Overall, the Filco Majestouch 2 is the closest thing users will get to an endgame prebuilt keyboard that works perfectly for any task. The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance. And just like the original Majestouch 2, the Majestouch 2SS is available in both a full-size and TKL variant. Overall, the Majestouch 2 takes Filco’s best-selling keyboard to the next level.

I also loved that they included a FILCO branded velcro cable tidy, a nice additional touch. I’ll most certainly make use of it.

I prefer red switches as in my opinion, it’s a great middle ground between typing and gaming performance. With this sudden shift, Filco decided to refresh their product lineup. In 2011, Filco released the Filco Majestouch 2, which has since reached legendary status. Since the release of the Majestouch 2, Filco has released countless variants and improved components, such as their PBT Double-shot keycaps. I pulled the USB cable out from the PC and swapped the keyboard for a spare, the good news is that I didn’t fry my motherboard or any PC components. Just the FILCO wasn’t working. The Filco Majestouch Convertible 2 is a wireless variant of the Majestouch 2. It maintains the high-quality build and typing feel of the original model while also introducing new features. The Majestouch Lumi S is a special edition of the Majestouch 2. What makes this keyboard special is the skull pattern graphic found on top of the keyboard, as well as its luminescent property. These two elements make the Filco look unique compared to the more minimalistic look that most Filco keyboards have.
