About this deal

BT Hybrid Connect - through a partnership with EE, if your broadband goes down you automatically join EE's mobile network a stop gap while your broadband is fixed. Around the same time as the superfast broadband rollout, Virgin Media became the first provider to offer an ultrafast service of 100Mbps and above - thanks to its faster ‘coaxial’ cable that needed to be installed at each customer’s property. It's only available to about half of UK homes at the moment, and it’s still very inconsistent in each area too. We work with Openreach to provide installation services if you require a new phone line, and for specific technology changes that require work outside of your property (e.g. Full Fibre). Subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. No cash alternative. Exclusions and terms apply. Unlimited Broadband (18 and 24 month contracts)

Unit 1 covers Principles of Communications Cabling. The purpose of this mandatory unit is for learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of safe working practices, including basic principles required to work in the telecommunications industry. Throughout the course delegates are provided with a comprehensive course manual. Firstly a PDF version whilst they work on our online portal, and once they come to use they will be given a physical manual to work through during their time with us. Practical details:Our sales, service and support team are all full trained within the telecommunications industry to provide you with the best support. BT has yet to offer 5G Broadband, although this is tentatively expected to be rolled out in the autumn of this year, as it does offer 5G for its mobile users. What other extras are available with BT Broadband? Fibre broadband gains its speed advantage from the way it delivers data and the type of cable it uses to do so. Once you have completed the online learning you will come to our centre for 5 days to complete the practical assessments and exams - these do need to be in-house meaning you would need to come to our facility in Melksham, Wiltshire. No Digital Home Phone calls service included. You will have no dial tone and will not be able to make or receive calls, including calls to emergency services. This is what makes it much faster and more reliable than copper cables. The more data that can pass through at any given time, the ‘faster’ the connection. And the less prone it is to outages or slowdowns, the more consistent that connection is. Unit 3 covers Structured Cabling and Enterprise Networks. This unit aims to provide the learner with the knowledge and understanding of health and safety, standards, installation procedures and testing copper cables in an internal environment. How do you complete the course?

Essential – Up to 94 Freeview channels including 16 in HD. 7 days of catch-up through your TV guide. The latest movies to buy or rent in the BT Player. Pause, record and rewind these channels on your BT TV set top box. 12-month minimum term. A UK Add-On covers minutes or data used over your inclusive plan allowance, up to the allowance for that Add-On, from your last BT Mobile bill until your next one. (So if you buy a 500MB Add-On 10 days before the date of your next bill, it'll cover the data you use for those days and the previous 20). The add-on renews automatically every month on the date you get your BT Mobile bill, unless you cancel it.

Our Design and Planning course will mainly be delivered via our online training portal with full support from our trainer and training administrators. people: 50-100Mbps would be a safe bet if your household casually uses the internet, or you have children watching lots of videos. But if most people in the household use the internet a lot, such as high-quality TV streaming and working from home, a speed of 100Mbps or above would be ideal. Over the years, broadband speeds have been described by some slightly confusing terms. How much faster is ‘ultrafast’ than ‘superfast’? And how is ‘superfast’ used to describe some of the slowest speeds?
