Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2023 is upon us, and like every year, it will feature themed gear, a unique game mode, and cosmetics to chase. And as is the case each year, the featured armor sets this year look amazing. Festival of the Lost will also offer exclusive brand-new armor sets that can be acquired for free; provided you play your cards right. Children will also be dressed this way, carrying a mini set of Tanabata decorations on a small branch of bamboo.
One of the other new additions this year is the Eerie Engram. This special type of Engram drops exclusively from Haunted Sectors, with Legendary Haunted Sectors having a much higher drop rate. Once you have an Eerie Engram, you need to take it to Eto to decode it, just like you do with Prime Engrams or Exotics at Rahool. Festival of the Lost 2023 creeps into the Tower from the 17th of October to the 7th of November, giving Guardians three weeks to stuff as much Candy into their coffers as they can. To mark the occasion, Zavala has dragged out all the old Halloween decorations and given the Tower a spooky spruce up: ominous purple candles line the halls, tattered flags fly in the darkened skies and the creepy dead tree has returned to grace the Tower’s central stage. Giant fukinagashi decorations dangle in the streets, shops, windows, and walkways, above your head.

These will often be specially made for the festival and will be a lot more brightly coloured than an everyday kimono would be. Kimono There are two versions of the Event Card: the free Event Card which is available to all players as soon as they log in and the paid Upgraded Event Card. Starting with the former, the regular Event Card is what most players are going to be engaging with during their time across the Festival. There are a total of 17 event challenges to complete, all of which come with their own rewards: Similar to Tanzaku, it is believed by many that enclosing a wish will produce your heart’s desire. 4. Kamigoromo – Kimono
Throughout the Festival, Eva Levante offers a set of masks that players may earn by completing Event Challenges. Furthermore, masks earned during previous Festival of the Lost events can also be equipped by players who earned them. All masks must be equipped as ornaments on the Masquerader's Helmet, which is offered by Eva Levante for 100 Glimmer. The throw is 50 in x 60 in or 127 cm x 152.4 cm. It’s covered in gold, silver and dark green images —the same pavilions, snowflakes, ornaments, and more featured on the other merchandise. Nowadays, however, the Japanese see these as something much more personal and will write their own prayers or even wishes on them.The 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has begun and festival merchandise is available in Creations Shop.
Additionally, players may launch directly into the matchmade Haunted Sector from the Tower Courtyard by interacting with the Haunted Sector mission totem next to Eva Levante.
Starting with the more traditional and easier variant of the Festival activities, normal Haunted Lost Sectors can be entered via the Node in the Tower map. This is the third year in a row where Guardians have battled against the Headless Ones and, if you’ve participated in any previous Festivals over the last few years, this will all seem very familiar to you. Haunted Sectors are, as the name suggests, remixed versions of select Lost Sectors which have been given a creepy makeover to match the Halloween season. There are 4 Haunted Sectors available, with the EDZ, Europa, the Moon and Nessus all hosting a different Lost Sector. A paper kimono, Kamigoromo emblematises the ancient skill of Sewing which is rooted in Japanese culture. A n Exo and a Vex Mind have merged to become something... new. A Guardian on Nessus is being hunted for their Ghost , and headless creatures prowl through the dark chasms of the Moon . G rab your favorite mask, join a fireteam , and e mbark on tales of terror ." When those three minutes are up (or you’ve killed 10 Headless in total), a final boss will spawn into the Haunted Sector. From here, you need to damage the boss until it begins to shield itself, at which point you need to locate a nearby Summoning Circle and kill the headless within to spawn a set of Pumpkin Bombs which will shred the boss’ shield. After that, just rinse and repeat until the boss falls over and you’ll be able to claim your loot.
