This is the only episode where King Juan el Bobo is voiced by Jeff DeGrandis (supervising producer of the show). In " A Crown for King Juan el Bobo", he will be voiced by guest star Cheech Marin and in " Dora's Dance to the Rescue", he will be voiced by Julian Rebolledo. This is the second project in the Dora franchise to be fully animated in CGI. The first is the amusement ride Dora & Diego's 4D Adventure: Catch that Robot Butterfly!.

In this episode, the stars did not appear until Dora and Boots were heading to their destination. This happens again in " The Super Silly Fiesta" and " Dora's Fairytale Adventure".The Blue Cursor, the picture pop-up sequence and colored paths have been abandoned with this series going for a Season 4 style. Mandarin – In the Mandarin Chinese language version Dora the characters speak mainly Mandarin with limited English. It broadcasts on Yo-yo TV in Taiwan and later broadcasts on CCTV-14 in Mainland China. Dora has received a somewhat Disney-Pixar/DreamWorks-esque redesign and now wears a blue shirt underneath her classic pink shirt and a pink barrette in her hair. Speaking of which, her hair was slightly altered to show her ears, revealing gold earrings. Additionally, she is shown with eyebrows in this series. During the second part of Hurry, Hurry, part of Dora's right eye (viewer's left) becomes the same color as her skin for one frame. Map's segment is preceded by Boots saying they don't know how to get to the destination, followed by Dora responding, "Who do we ask for help when we don't know which way to go?"

Swiper’s Favorite Things” finds Dora and Boots helping Swiper the fox collect his favorite things, which have been scattered throughout the rainforest. Along the way, they learn about sorting objects, matching shapes, and how to solve problems together. Finally, in “Bouncy Ball,” Dora and Boots must retrieve Benny’s bouncy ball from atop a mountain while avoiding obstacles and slippery slopes. This is a 3 DVD gift set. Disc 1 is from "It's a Party"; Disc 2 is from "Super Silly Fiesta!"; & Disc 3 is from "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure". As shown in the list above, Spanish is the second language taught in the original English language version of the show (also broadcast for Malay speakers), in the Irish, Serbian, and the trilingual Turkish versions, but for other versions of the show, the language being taught is English. The series went on hiatus on June 5, 2014. Dora's Super Soccer Showdown was the last episode to premiere in 2014. Five years later, the series aired the six episodes in 2019 to promote the movie. Though the five episodes premiered in 2019, the series had ceased production five years prior. More episodes after the movie will be added in the future. Dora and Boots travel to all the places they are supposed to go but when they find the three bears, the giant and the dragon, all of them are seen mad at first but Dora and Boots are always using their minds to change their attitudes right away to happy and positive.

Kannada – The Kannada language version broadcasts on Chintu TV and is a very popular program on that network. Hindi is the second language in this version. Filipino – The Filipino language version broadcasts on ABS-CBN and has the same English title "Dora, the Explorer". The characters speak Filipino and some English, Dora teaches English in this version. Sometimes Dora and Boots have to watch out for Swiper the Fox, a sneaky fox who has a habit of swiping people's things and hiding them. Swiper's appearance is signaled by an offscreen whisking sound, and Dora then asks the viewer to watch out for Swiper. Once he appears, Dora and Boots have to try to stop him; to successfully stop Swiper, they would have to say the phrase " Swiper, no swiping!" three times. If they are successful, Swiper will run away; if they are too late, Swiper will swipe the item and hide it, which in turns prompts a find-it challenge to retrieve the swiped object.
