This passenger wanted to know if there is any limits to the amount chocolate he can bring in Carry-on baggage. Can You Take Chocolate In Carry-on Or Hand Luggage? containers must be in a single, transparent, resealable plastic bag, which holds no more than a litre and measures approximately 20cm x 20cm

I’m not so sure that this #tsaloophole would work in a real-life scenario. Can You Bring Chocolate Spread On A Plane? We get questions about bringing stuff on planes all the time. So we’ve written a lot of other guides, where we answer the most commonly asked questions.

What’s Going On Here?

When taking chocolate that is liquid form like Nutella in carry-on baggage, there is more chance that you are not allowed to take more than 3.4 oz (100) so you can fill a small container and place them inside a sealed and well secured bag. What other items aren’t allowed in cabin luggage? Can you take camping gear on board? How about tinned fish? The rules for bringing liquid chocolate are the same as the rules for bringing other types of liquid in your hand luggage. TSA calls it the 3-1-1 rule. It means that your liquids must be placed in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml (3.4 ounces) each and then placed inside a transparent bag for toiletries (measuring one quart). Each passenger is only allowed one bag of liquid (including toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotions, and even liquid chocolate).

If you are traveling with chocolate bars, it is preferable to place it inside a solid box and place it inside your suitcase. Otherwise if you don’t have a box you can wrap it with your clothes and place it in the middle of your suitcase.Generally, medicines and pills are among the items you can take on a plane in your hand luggage, including syrups and medicines in liquid form as long as they do not make more than 100ml. If you need more, you must notify your airline in advance. For oxygen or air for medical use, this will depend on your airline. easyJet permits it so long as the weight of the bottle does not exceed 5kg. Ryanair also allows different types of respiratory equipment (masks, respirators ventilators continuous positive airway pressure or CPAP) so long as they comply with cabin baggage dimensions. Medicine Item As with sports equipment, most work tools and equipment are not allowed in the cabin. So if you happen to be a designer, painter or carpenter travelling, the hammer, nails and paint spray will have to go in the hold. Equipment Item That’s good news for peanut butter addicts that travel with cabin luggage only. What’s Going On Here? But chocolate “jars” or cups of peanut butter are not considered liquids and you can bring as much of them as you like in your carry-on.
