About this deal

The Chicco Next2Me cribs are innovatively designed to facilitate safe co-sleeping with your baby, allowing you to keep your little one close all night long. Chicco Next2Me Magic is the most innovative side sleeping solution on the market. Designed with a host of exciting and innovative new features, including a one-handed sliding side panel, which makes it easier than ever to reach little one during the night. The cot cover can be removed for washing – essential for young babies! – and it appeared to me that there should also be an option to remove the side bar; certainly this is a feature of older models. I struggled to see how to do it, and neither could my husband figure it out. Adjustable to 6 different height positions and featuring a tilt function to aid with with congestion, the Chicco Next2Me Air is designed to guarantee a comfortable night’s sleep for little ones. Suitable from birth, the Chicco Next2me Go is the smart co-sleeping solution with an instant folding system that allows the crib to fold and be set up in just 3 seconds!

The new Chicco Next 2 Me Dream has everything that the original model has, plus additional features which make it stand out from the crowd. The 11 adjustable heights mean that it can fit onto any bed, and the Next2me Dream can also be used stand-alone and as a travel cot, with carry bag included. When the product is fastened to the bed, there must be no gaps between the lowered side of the crib and the mattress of the parents’ bed. The carry bag is perhaps not as good quality as the rest of the product, meaning it won’t last too long. But I would not change anything about the crib itself, it’s fabulous! Tested by mum Kate Douglas-Dala for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: The only thing I would adapt is the button mechanism for taking the side down on the crib. I personally found it quite tough to use. Apart from that, I would not change a thing! Amazing product. Tested by mum Katie Gresty for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: While this new feature will of course make life that little bit easier, comparing the Chicco Next to Me Magic vs Dream doesn’t get around the issues described above: the safety mechanism which prevents lowering the side all the way remains. In the end I enquired with the PR and discovered that this bar is not intended to be removed as with previous models. Designed to promote airflow and breathability, the new crib features mesh panelling on all sides of the crib to allow transpiration and keep little ones cool throughout the night, as well as allowing parents to see baby at all times. Unfortunately it also means that breastfeeding is not quite the beautiful experience I’d romanticised: I still have to lift Elfin out of the Chicco co sleeper cot to feed her, which kind of negates its initial purpose for me. The Chicco Next2Me Dream features 11 adjustable height levels, ranging from 35cm to 52 cm, allow parents to create the perfect sleeping position for their little one, and can be tilted to aid with reflux. Additionally, the crib has an additional mesh window for increased breathability to keep baby cool and comfortable during the night. The Next2Me Magic is equally as versatile as the original Next2Me. This crib comes with a travel bag included and can be easily dismantled to take with you on your travels. This crib features 4 wheels on the base for easier transportation and also boasts a 4 level tilt-function to ease symptoms of reflux or congestion in your little one.

The Next2Me Air and Next2Me Pop Up is designed with 4 wide meshed sides for optimal airflow, keeping baby's sleep space well ventilated and cool in the hot summer months. Are you after a bedside co-sleeper which will last you for a long time?

Do not use the product if the mattress of the parents’ bed has a height of less than 49 cm or more than 64 cm. For parents looking for a crib compatible with divan beds, all three cribs in the Chicco Next2Me range feature adjustable feet. The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed with retractable feet, whilst the Chicco Next2Me Dream and Chicco Next2Me Air feature folding feet. I would buy this over other cribs as it is so well-designed for night feeds. Being able to stay in bed to breastfeed, without getting up constantly, reduces stress and time awake, which makes everything more manageable. This model also features 4 wheels, so wheeling it from room to room is no problem at all if you want to keep little one close as they nap. Arguably, this is the most transportable Next2Me crib as it is the lightest one with 4 wheels, so that's something to bear in mind if you're after something especially mobile.

It is possible to lean in to the cot to feed – but doing so is not easy or comfortable, meaning the safety aspect of the cot does somewhat impede on its original USP in my opinion. The opening can be altered at will, even when attached to the bed, so you can raise or lower the wall separating you from baby in one swift movement. The feet on the crib can be folded like the other Next2Me cribs to ensure a snug fit to any bed base, so it doesn't matter if you have a divan, ottoman or drawer based bed. The Forever also boasts 4 tilt positions for babies struggling with reflux, ensuring baby is comfortable so everyone can get a good night's sleep.Since I originally reviewed the Dream when it was new, Chicco have released their newest model, the Chicco Next to Me Magic. I’ve not used it myself, but my understanding is that the main upgrade is the benefit of being able lower or raise the side panel with one hand. The Next2Me Forever is the only Next2Me crib which is suitable from birth all the way up to 4 years old. It boasts 3in1 capabilities; offering a bedside co-sleeper mode, a standalone crib mode and then can be transformed into a toddler bed when your little one is not-so-little anymore! For parents looking for enhanced air flow, the new Chicco Next2Me Air features mesh panelling on all four sides of the crib to keep little one cool. The Chicco Next2Me Air the latest addition to the award-winning Chicco Next2Me collection, promoting enhanced airflow and allowing little ones to sleep comfortably next to their parents all night long. For added convenience, once folded, the Next2me is super compact and thanks to its travel bag (included), can be taken anywhere, making the Next2me Go the perfect travel crib for smart parents.

Co-sleeping has never been safer with the Chicco Next2Me Pop Up, its range of safety features gives parents the reassurance that their baby will sleep in close range without harm. With 4 mesh windows and an air circulation enhancing mattress, the Chicco Next2Me Pop Up allows air to circulate and flow throughout the cot. Covering all possibilities, the Chicco Next2Me Pop Up also has the option to be tilted to help your little one with digestion or keep them in a position that helps ease symptoms of nose congestion. Do not use the product with beds with containers/drawers having a base 11 cm more protruding than the mattress. If I could change anything, it would be the cords that attach it to the bed as I did find that they lose their tightness after a while. Otherwise I love it!If the parents' bed is not compatible with the crib fasten system, the product can be used as a traditional crib (with all sides closed). Do not use the product with beds having frames protruding from the mattress more than 21 cm. The upper surface of the frame must not be higher than 41 cm. Yes, the features I really liked were: the ability to change the height so that the crib could fit perfectly onto our bed, the super soft sides which meant that my three-month-old didn't wake herself up when she hit the sides in the night and the fact that it was so easily folded up to take away on holiday.
