About this deal

It comes in a turquoise and white colour scheme and is a mop that’s both sturdy and easy to work with. This Beldray candidate can also stand up on its own and be easily diassembled as the mop’s metallic handle can be removed at the touch of a button. In addition, we also found this mop to be easy to move around thanks to the fact it’s both lightweight and comes with a 5m cable. First things first: this is a super-expensive robot vacuum cleaner and mop. So, what’s it doing on this list? Quite simply, it’s the best automated mop that we have reviewed before. While most robot vacuum cleaners that can mop usually just drip water onto a microfibre cloth, the X1 Omni is different. The Bissell Vac & Steam 1977E is a fantastic time-saver, vacuuming and cleaning at the same time. We loved the original, and now the 1977E model has had a small update and now comes in a fetching blue colour. As a standalone steam cleaner or a standalone vacuum cleaner, this model won’t win awards; yet, the combination of the two features produces some powerful cleaning results. Cleaning and parking station/tray - a handy tool for parking and storing your hard floor cleaner while not in use.

The main cleaning head has a suction tube sandwiched between two soft rollers that rotate in opposing directions, but you can move the head in any direction you please, meaning it’s great at getting around awkward table legs and weird nooks. Unlike other hard floor cleaners, this doesn’t come with a wet clean or wash option, but it does have plenty of attachments. If you have enough hard flooring at home, then these are a savvy buy for regular cleaning, especially if you opt for one that vacuums and washes. They'll save you from mopping or spot cleaning, and give great results. Not to mention you shouldn't have to wait long (if at all) for your flooring to be dry, something that definitely can't be said for mops. It’s only designed for cleaning floors, so there are no accessories except a filling jug. There are two steam levels: a button on the front of the body of the cleaner cycles between these and off. In our tests, Molly found it heats up in under 30 seconds. We measured battery life at 21m 13s in our tests, which was enough to clean our 25m² kitchen and wiz around the rest of our downstairs. How many hard floors you have and how dirty they are will affect your cleaning range. If you're after a versatile appliance or looking to buy some extra accessories. keep an eye our for the following: Our refurbished carpet cleaners remove dirt, dust and other airborne particles from your carpets and hard floors. Save money & enjoy high-performance and reliable carpet cleaner products As with the first product, the Glide 2 is part of the ONEPWR range of devices, which includes vacuum cleaners, spot cleaners and more. This model ships with a 4Ah battery, but you can use any ONEPWR battery from other products. If you’ve got other products, that’s handy, as you can boost runtime here by reusing your existing batteries. In testing, the Beldray Detergent Steam Cleaner did a decent job of getting rid of most of the messes we’d left on both smooth and textured tiles in one go. When taking these tests individually, in steaming a patch of rug for 30 seconds, there was a saturation in the colours of the rug after the 30 seconds, although the mop hadn’t quite got rid of a small stain the rug. When removing dried muddy footprints from a laminate floor though, the mop fully removed them in 20 second without any marks or residue, while in our toughest test (a combo of coffee and tomato paste dried into a patch of tiles), it took around 2 and a half minutes for the stain to be fully removed, although only 30 seconds to remove the superficial staining.

Electric floor scrubbers are either battery-powered or plug in to a wall outlet to power a spinning or suction mechanism that makes your cleaning routine faster and more thorough. Manual floor scrubbers are similar to more traditional cleaning products. They rely on your own arms to put the power behind them. In our experience, Hoover's floor-cleaning appliances offer great value for the money, and this carpet cleaner is no exception. While it may not always be the least expensive model on this list, keep in mind that prices on these appliances fluctuate frequently. And with its good performance and innovative features, this model offers lots of plusses, even when there's a small hike in the price. The body boasts variable steam control and an anti-calc collector. It comes with a squeegee with cloth cover for cleaning upholstery, plus concentrator, scraper and two sizes of nylon brush. These are all great for cleaning, but might be a bit much if you're tight on storage space. It's important not to use carpet washers or multi-function machines on unsealed laminate or wooden floors though, as these surfaces can be damaged by the water. You might find that dry options are safer for your hardwood, especially if you have lots of space between floorboards—but any hardwood with a lacquer should be fine with any of these scrubbers. The controls on the handle include a power toggle button plus a button to change modes. You can get a visual indicator of the level of dirt by looking at the coloured bar that runs around the LCD: the more red there is, the dirtier the floor. Here, I’ve selected the top four cleaners, with both plug-in and battery-powered models. I’ve chosen a selection of cleaners, too, including polishers, vacuums and roller systems, so that you can find the right type for your home.

An upgrade on the original, the Vax ONEPWR Glide 2 boosts power, ease of use and edge performance while maintaining many features that made the original so good. Karcher provides accessories that let us use it for almost every job during testing. There’s an Easyfix floor mopping head complete with washable microfibre cloths and a carpet glider.A large square brush gives you power for tough cleaning. And, a detail nozzle which takes a small round brush, small detail brush and power nozzle. In fact, the only thing missing is a window cleaning tool. Simple controls on top let you select the mode (carpet or hard floor), and there’s a trigger to push out cleaning detergent when you want to use it, letting you control the amount of fluid: more for tough stains and less where the floor isn’t so dirty. When you finish, there’s a self-clean mode, so there’s not much cleaning up.Easy to use, easy to move and brilliantly priced, theShark Klik n’ Flip S6003UK Steam Mop is the best steam mop that we have ever tested. If you’ve got lots of hard floors, this is a great model to buy When you’re deciding which hard floor cleaner to invest in, assess its manoeuvrability by looking at its weight. Consider too where you’ll store it – some are more compact than others. The Shark S6003UK may be the most powerful steam mop, particularly with its steam burst, but the Shark Steam&Scrub Automatic Steam Mop S6002UK is the easiest to use. Rather than having a flat pad that you push around, the S6002UK has dual microfibre pads that spin using the integrated motor. Hard floors are where this cleaner excels, dealing with stubborn stains with ease, leaving a nice shiny floor at the end. Impressively, the CrossWave Cordless Max is also a decent vacuum cleaner in its own right, so there’s no need to clean up with a vacuum cleaner first; in fact, the only thing you’ll need a regular vacuum cleaner for is to get into tight gaps and for edge cleaning.
