Smartwatches aren’t known for long battery life and despite a more limited feature set than most adult watches, the Xplora GO2 is no different. If anything it’s worse. Xplora doesn’t actually list a general usage battery life, they only claim that the watch should last 72 hours in standby. But in our tests it barely scraped through a full day, even when use was limited.

Press and hold for approx. 20 seconds to switch the device off. The SOS alarm will be triggered when switching off the device this way. Alternatively you can switch off the device through the app or through the device's settings menu without triggering the SOS alarm.When it comes to features, the XGO2 pulls ahead of the smartwatch competition, in quantity at least. Running on Android 4.4, the XGo2 has a 1.4in. capacitive touch colour LCD screen, with a resolution of 240px x 240px. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A7 frequency, 512MB RAM and Spreadtrum SC9820E chipset, the watch is snappy and responsive, with no discouraging lag in response to inquisitive taps and swipes. Important: We cannot guarantee the compatibility of different providers, even if they use the same network of those listed below. The watch itself is hard to use even for an adult, the screen is tiny and poor quality, the key features are buggy and the battery life is really poor. I spent far too much time explaining to a little frowning face, why something wasn’t working. Make sure your watch is fully charged. If the watch previously ran out of power, it might take up to 15 minutes of charging before the watch can be switched on.
