About this deal

A friend (MH) sent me two books from this series in a box of books. I suspect the other book from the series comes before this one but didn't realize that until I'd already read part of this one. I guess I just don't buy Lucy's explanation to Carrie about why Lucy wants to work for Carrie rather than her mom or taking over her mom's business. It just seemed like too convenient a way to solve Carrie's dilemma of needing an assistant manager.

If you have read any of the previous books in the series, the O’Brien’s pretty much run the town, with the Irish pub, while each of the family members possesses numerous talents and qualities. Not too shabby a bunch. They seem to run off to spread their wings with successful careers, world travels, and return home to find a partner, and settle down, plus more. The theme of enduring friendships and families is always central to Sherryl's books, including her latest Chesapeake Shores series — THE INN AT EAGLE POINT, FLOWERS ON MAIN and HARBOR LIGHTS. With two other careers to her credit before becoming a novelist and four states in which she's lived for extended periods of time, Sherryl Woods has collected friends and memories, along with way too much unnecessary junk.I thought Sam was terrific. Even though he had been a carefree bachelor, he didn't hesitate to step up when it came time to take care of Bobby. His fears were real and realistic, as he didn't know anything about kids or what they need. He is used to doing things on his own, so asking for help isn't easy. Even though he makes a few mistakes along the way, he is determined that he and Bobby will be the "team" that they need to get through it. There were some really sweet moments between the two of them as Sam went from nervous uncle to (semi) confident dad.

Sam has a rough road ahead of him that he becomes parent unexpectedly that he needs some help that he gets some from Carrie. Sam does not know what to think about Carrie that he is put of element. But he is attract to her since she is kind and beautiful women but he does not want to become too attached to her since she is kinda lost on what she should do for a living. I definitely understand Sam when he does not want to become too attached when he is responsible for a child that he needs stable environment.

As soon as I heard it I wanted Carrie to explore things, so when she made that first impulsive step I was cheering her on. While to her family things seemed out of the blue, Carrie had thought things through, her showing them was great! Other Books in Chesapeake Shores Series

I have never been disappointed with any book by Sherryl Woods that I have read and this one is no different. So make sure you are comfortable when you start this book as you won't get up until you have read the last word. En Suite - 2.13m x 2.13m (6'11" x 6'11") - Modern En suite Benefiting from a tiled shower cubicle, free standing bath, low level W/C, pedestal wash basin, central heated towel rail and opaque double glazed window.

Having read all the books in the series, always nice catching up with familiar characters and old friends. They are growing up fast, always expanding by marrying and adding more babies with every book. They always seem to gather around the dining room table, so assume it has lots of extensions. It was pretty predictable from beginning to the end, boy meets girl, a few ups and downs in between, and finally a "Happily Ever After" ending. The one Pro of this book which I appreciated was the romance was light-hearted. No X-rated romance. My favorite kind of romance novels. So, despite Carrie's assurances that her daycare would not be competition for Julie's, did it turn out to be the case that it was? Did enough families switch to Carrie's daycare that Julie's business went downhill? Or did Lucy decide she didn't want ownership in a business that was her mom's dream--and might not be hers? We saw early on that Julie said Lucy didn't always have the discipline skills Julie felt she needed to run the daycare. Bedroom Three - 2.90m x 2.13m (9'06 x 7'00) - Built in wardrobe, radiator, double glazed window to front elevation Will these two hit it off with their own personal issues and baggage? In between brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, nieces and nephews, a large family and faithful friends, nothing is impossible. Will Carrie and Sam be the perfect match to carry on the O’Brien legacy and overcome all the obstacles and challenges?
