About this deal

So with that in mind we bought a Vonshef egg cooker - what can I say - it arrived on time (ready for Easter), it is a compact, neat unit, the instructions are clear and easy to understand and the egg piercer on the bottom of the water measuring cup is a thing of genius!! As for the eggs - right on the time the boiler switched itself off and sixteen eggs were cooked to perfection (you can, of course, cook less eggs) either way they had just the right level of runnyness and the result, very happy easter, eggy, bunnies! They are great to use for even the younger cook (under supervision). The Electric Omelette Maker Perfect Omelette Maker In addition to making delicious omelettes, the automatic temperature control on this appliance also makes cooking any style of fried eggs possible. Think of it more as a multi-cooker for all your breakfast and lunch needs. Geepas also included a cool-touch handle in the build to help make the temperature even more manageable.

However, if you are using a stovetop omelette maker, place it on a hob burner and switch it to medium-low heat. Step 2: Prepare Your Ingredients The Egg Central also includes removable trays so you can poach four eggs at once or make three-egg omelets. However, we felt that any more than two eggs likely would have overflowed the tray when cooking, as the contents of two were cutting it close—and you likely won't be able to add toppings, either, without things spilling over. It took about 15 minutes to cook this two-egg omelet and 9.5 minutes to poach one egg (this is normal for up to four eggs). Fancy a change from boiled? Use the bowl provided to create perfectly poached eggs and scrumptious omelettes in an instant. She arrived carrying her omelette maker and handed it to me pre-prepped (she’d sprayed some oil into the sections). I used two eggs, mixed my omelette as usual and then poured roughly even amounts into each side only half way up so they had room to fluff.Cooking can be fun, but who has the time to do everything manually these days? Speed up the process with electrical kitchen equipment to spend less time preparing and more time enjoying your delicious homemade creations. Designed with the egg lover in mind, the versatile VonShef Egg Boiler comes with two shelves with room to cook up to 16 eggs at once. Great for cooking large breakfasts or meals for all the family. If you prefer, you can remove one of the shelves to turn the appliance into a one tier egg boiler with an eight egg capacity.

As with any new appliance or kitchen tool, we recommend reading the user manual before actually firing it up for use. While we made a point to bring you a comprehensive how-to guide, this will alert you to specific traits and controls on your omelette maker. It will also give you a more precise cooking time and more precise recipe proportions and may even give you some good breakfast, lunch, and dinner ideas that expand beyond just making omelettes. This cooker will steam-cook eggs to hard-, medium-, or soft-boiled and can cook up to 10 eggs at a time in two tiers—a dream if you're preparing deviled eggs for a party or egg salad sandwiches for the family. Handles on the side make it easier to lift the lid, but oven mitts are a good idea, since it does get hot during cooking. Since microwaves vary in power, it might take a few tries to find the perfect cooking and resting time to get your eggs just the way you like them, but once you’ve figured it out, it will produce nearly foolproof eggs every time. An omelette maker only takes about five minutes to cook an omelette, maybe a couple more if you take your time prepping ingredients. Instead, you can use this time to clean up your prep materials or focus on other cooking tasks. This omelette maker frying pan is made from high-quality platinum silicone that folds into a clam shape. The BPA free silicone repels germs and water making it easy to clean and advancing food safety. The silicone is also dishwasher safe. If you are using a stovetop omelette maker, lift the top, be careful of any hot steam escaping, and slide your omelette out and onto a plate. Hard-boiled eggs are simultaneously the easiest and hardest thing to cook. The recipe is simple, but if there’s a little bit of distraction, the eggs can overcook, forming an unattractive green ring around the yolk and making the white rubbery. If you don't let them cook for long enough, the end result is undercooked and slimy. Egg cookers take the timing out of the cook’s hands, making perfect eggs much easier. Many include settings for soft-boiled or medium eggs, and some can even poach eggs or make omelets. If you do want to do it the old-fashioned way, here's our tried-and-true guide to cooking (and peeling) the perfect hard-boiled eggs. Like above you can use any ham that you have to hand and then saute some chopped mushrooms before adding those to the mix. You can add them without sauteing first but they won’t have the same fully cooked finish.
