About this deal

I love them. So much. Each have their own hang ups because of their pasts, and this is what makes them both so unique. When it comes to Ana Huang books, you know you’re in for a wild ride. But it’s not just the exceptional steam that gets my attention about these books, it’s the depth of these characters, the trauma they’ve suffered and overcome, the strength that’s both obvious and hidden and the relationships they build with everyone else in the books. While Bridget and Rhys are always going to be my absolute favourite of the series, Jules and Josh blew me away. And it’s in part the intensity of these characters and in part the story that Ana managed to tell between all the hate and banter and beautifully explicit sex.

Warning: The story contains explicit content, mild violence, profanity, and topics that may be sensitive to some readers. Detailed list linked inside the book. Recommended for 18+. I've been waiting for this instalment of the Twisted series by Ana Huang since I first read Twisted Love and Twisted Games (and I eagerly awaiting Twisted Lies). In this book we follow young, hot shot doctor, Josh - older brother of the heroine from the first book - and his sister's best friend, Jules. Both are ambitious, hot-tempered and can't stand one another at the beginning of this book, but this acrimonious relationship leads to a spark that neither can deny. When Jules' past catches up to her she needs to rely on the one person who she never thought she could trust - Josh.also, what josh did in the third act breakup was messed up. and, because ana had to deliver a love story no matter what, jules forgave him in a week. i know she was also in the wrong, but josh’s cruelness crossed so many lines. he didn’t deserve forgiveness after a week.

but because he wants a RANDOM ASS PAINTING THAT SOMEHOW MIRACULOUSLY DR JOSH CHEN POSSESSES... the reach... the imagination... the creativity... ana huang i simply have to stan you m'aam! if you guys thought the plot twist with ava/josh's dad in Twisted Love was crazy, this one right here is even better. I was somehow not surprised Jules had turned the tables on her would-be mugger. If she got kidnapped, the kidnapper would probably return her within the hour due to sheer irritation❞ i was more than willing to sacrifice the one bed trope to josh doting on her period cramps. call me private ryan We got caught in this cycle of insulting and hating each other, and I didn't know how to break it.” — and before their awfully amazing sex, they didn't know why! And they always insulted each other because it was like muscle memory! 😂 Though I must say the banter was hilarious and my favorite! 🤭 Together, Jules and Josh have never got along… which makes their enemies with benefits arrangement even hotter 🔥🔥

What was that?” Josh’s breath grazed my cheek. “You always have so much to say. Where are your words now, hmm?” i was gonna rate this a flat 2 stars but then i got to the whole painting fiasco and y'all..... how could you not warn me. i was not prepared for the comedic masterpiece that came my way in the final quarter of this book 🤣🤣 why did resident doctor joshua chen happen to have the priceless art piece that jules' ex wanted to steal hanging up in his house the abrupt change in josh's demeanor from casual to possessive caveman at the half way mark was so jarring

listen i wanna love stella (hot af multicultural queen), but personality wise the girl is giving us ✨nothing.✨ hopefully she does some soul searching between books 3 and 4 and scrounges up ✨something✨When their animosity explodes into one unforgettable night, he proposes a solution that’ll get her out of his system once and for all: an enemies with benefits arrangement with simple rules. Oh, boy. This book couple has chemistry and steam in SPADES, and it takes for their initial dislike and animosity towards each other to fade to genuine feelings for the other. Enemies to lovers is a favourite trope of mine, and this one handles it beautifully, keeping up the tension for the majority of the book and forcing the characters to question their relationship and themselves. Ever since book one I've been waiting to read their story, and Ana Huang did not disappoint. This book definitely stepped up the banter and the steam level from previous books as well. I've hidden this review because there are so many spoilers. In fact, it's better to go into this book spoiled. Believe you me. the banter, the chemistry, and the sex made up for the weird plot and long length so i choose a good balanced neutral 3 stars. like switzerland.
