Price and warranty: LED grow lights come in various price ranges. While it’s tempting to opt for cheaper options, prioritize quality and reliability. Look for lights that offer a warranty to protect your investment and ensure you can get support if any issues arise. Two Mars Hydro TS 1000 LED grow lights would each cover 2×2 for a total of 2×4 feet, without sacrificing anything on light intensity. Dimmability and control features: Some LED grow lights offer dimming options or control features that allow you to adjust the intensity of the light. This flexibility can be beneficial for different plant species and growth stages. Producing a wide footprint of consistently intense full-spectrum light, the Mars Hydro TS1000 is always a great choice for indoor plants, but it might not be right for every buyer. Since it requires overhead mounting points, users must commit to installing ceiling hooks or building some sort of framework from which to suspend the unit. For those who need a grow light that will look great in their living room, the industrial appearance of this one may not fit. The heat dissipation really surprises me and I am not quite sure how it is achieved. I can touch this grow light even after running it for multiple hours.

I already mentioned these lights are a strong value for growers needing cheap LED grow lights that perform well. But there are a few additional features I’d like to see on these grow lights if Mars Hydro releases a new version of TS Series grow lights in the future.

The old version and the new version are very different in internal structure, so it can’t just add a dimmer knob to realize the functions. Now only our TSW2000 & TSL2000 can have this function by replacing it with a new driver. The whole driver set would cost 100-150 USD. So we would not recommend customers to buy it. 3. Could I add a blurple/red/HID light side by side mars hydro led light? I personally like to get the light as close to the plants as possible but not too close to burn any of the foliage. While its average price of per unit density is very cheap.When you compare that to the closest competitors, the HLG 300 and HLG 550 v2, those lights pull 240 watts and 480 watts respectively, but they emit the same intensity of light! Compared to the Mars Hydro TS Series, the HLG lights are pulling almost double and emitting a very similar level of light intensity. This way I wouldn’t have to buy an additional time switch to control when the light is on and off. The Quantum Board style helps to distribute the light evenly across the coverage area. As you can see in the PAR map, all regions in the coverage area receive optimal photon densities. The cost-efficient design offers growers an incredible light at an amazing price. The TS 1000 Full Spectrum LED Grow Light is a winner. It is the optimal size for a handful of plants in a grow tent, cabinet, or shelf and is very energy efficient using 2.3 μmol/J. You can dim it between 0-100% as needed, producing a very high light output of PPF 343umol/S at the highest level. It is easy to mount on your own and comes with the required ratchet straps.
