About this deal

I read a good amount of self improvement and devotional books and The Sunshine Mind: 100 Days to Finding the Hope and Joy You Want is definitely one of the better ones I've read! The book itself is bright and cheery...yellow...sunshine...joy and hope. Rad and Stevens did an excellent job with the writing. My only complaint about this book is the quality. While the cover is lovely and eye catching, including the fact that this is a Christian book would be helpful to the reader. As an adult women, I find joy in the details. The paper used for this book is thin and feels rough. For a book of this type, I would expect a nicer quality, glossy finish paper. I often reread books of this type or gift them to friends who might benefit. This book doesn't feel like it would last the test of time, nor is it giftable from a physical quality standpoint. This book will change your mindset for the better. They are not here to make us like them they want this to help guide you to a better you a happier you. Yes this book may not be for everyone it does have a target audience. For me it is what i needed and i can think of many people that can benefit from this book.

The Sunshine Mind is a devotional book that helps you work through anything and helps you bring god into your life. My husband and I recently found out some life changing news and this book couldn’t have landed in my hands at a better time. God knew I needed to read this. Especially day 6.Tanya Rad is forever a romantic of life, and this is what we need more of in the world--to see life through a never-ending lens of hope. Tanya and Raquelle have authentically and vulnerably crafted a book that will help us in our journeys to loving ourselves and in turn the world around us. Patty Rodriguez, author, producer, and cofounder of Lil' Libros V. Do we let negativity be our default too much and not put out enough energy into spreading positivity. Both Rad and Stevens believe that the popularity of social media and the pressure that comes with having an online presence have made life harder for today’s teenagers.

Written in a conversational tone right from the start, this one hundred day devotional feels as if I were sitting down with two close, long time friends of mine, listening as each shared personal obstacles as well as achievements in her life. I enjoyed reading about their struggles and how they turned these difficult times into times to trust God. The forward by their good friend Selena Gomez was a delight as I know Selena Gomez has reached out publicly about her own struggles with society's expectations and her mental health. While reading through this devotional, the focus was always on self and how God can help you be "better." Never about what we as Christians need to do so we can better serve God.

Whether you're looking to make major life changes or simply want to add a little more sunshine to your daily routine, The Sunshine Mind is the perfect companion. When you know who you are, it doesn’t hold any weight. I try to focus on the good and focus on the positive,” she said. “From people that are close to me and friends, I welcome criticism. But I know who I am and I feel really solid in that, so it’s pretty easy to kind of brush off trolls or negativity.” The book is aimed at anyone who wants to live a happier, more fulfilling life, and who is looking for guidance and support in making positive changes. Real, honest, and shared from personal experience, Tanya and Raquelle wrote The Sunshine Mind with today's woman in their hearts. Each of the 100 inspiring readings offers faith, hope, strength, and peace to encourage you to become the beautiful person God made you to be.Rad's writing style is warm, accessible, and engaging, making the book a pleasure to read. She uses relatable anecdotes and examples to illustrate her points, and provides plenty of exercises and activities for readers to try out for themselves. Real, honest, and shared from personal experience, Tanya and Raquelle wrote The Sunshine Mind with today's woman on their hearts. Each of the 100 inspiring readings offers faith, hope, strength, and peace to encourage you to become the beautiful person God made you to be. Rad's writing is infused with her own enthusiasm and positivity, making the book an uplifting and motivating read. Through short encouraging readings on how to become less obsessed with perfection, seek validation from God rather than others, see negative circumstances as new opportunities, and more, you'll learn to . . .

This is far from my usual read, but I had a ton of credits on Audible so I decided to go out of my comfort zone. I also happened to see an advertisement that it was with Selena Gomez (who I love) and was further intrigued. Rad encourages readers to embrace these experiences as opportunities for growth and learning, and provides practical advice for how to do so. It doesn’t give examples from the Bible so if you are looking for that type of devotional it probably won’t be your type of book. It has verses but it talks about the authors lives.I’ve read several days of The Sunshine Mind and find it enjoyable. It’s a different kind of devotional where they are giving modern examples from their lives. I have been a Christ follower for almost 19 years and was practically born in church almost 12 years before that. I have read many devotionals and done many Bible studies. The ones that have made the most impact on my life are the ones that called me to action. One of the key messages of the book is that happiness is a choice, and that we have the power to shape our own lives through the thoughts and attitudes we cultivate.
