Our goal was to create a puzzle that can bring people together during these difficult times. So we undertook thorough research and development when designing this collection, which included care home visits, liaising with Age UK Centres and teaming up with Zoe Wryko , Consultant Geriatrician and member of the expert team on Channel 4's award-winning TV show, Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds. After leaving Bradford Art College in 1979 with a Diploma in Art and Design, Trevor began his career as an art director at a London advertising agency. He returned to his native West Yorkshire a few years later and worked for several design studios and advertising agencies before going freelance in 1986. Commercial illustration work rekindled his love of painting and he was encouraged by finding a market for his work among the publishers of greeting cards and jigsaw puzzles, and art prints of his paintings are now sold worldwide. Trevor's paintings reflect his enthusiasm for steam and vintage vehicles and his fascination with recreating the past in pictures appears frequently in Gibsons nostalgic puzzle range. About Us The city is immersed in history and tourists all over the world come to discover the narrow little lanes and ancient Inns alongside impressive buildings such as Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. At its heart is the River Thames, on whose path you will find Greenwich, The London Eye and Hampton Court Palace. Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle. All of us, have been fortunate enough to have been alive during the reign of our dear departed Queen Elizabeth II. What a remarkable and selfless monarch she has been. Since becoming our Queen at the young age of 25, due to the premature passing of her father King George VI, she has devoted over 70 years of her life to serving her people.
In our commemorative puzzle, we have tried to capture some of the joyous moments of her life, from her childhood, as a bright-eyed carefree young woman, through her military service in the Second World War, to her coronation ceremony, and beyond through the many years of her reign. She will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother as well as for her dedication and resilience, and passion for her horses, her corgis and of course we, her cherished subjects. Around 50 million people are estimated to be living with dementia around the world, a disease that can be isolating for both the sufferer and their family members, friends or carers. We have a variety of heirloom gifts available, so you can keep, appreciate them and pass down through the generations. Many of us have known nothing but Her Majesty at the throne so it is important to remember such a special period of our lives. Our late Queen Elizabeth II will be forever remembered for her grace, wit and great sense of humour whilst growing up in front of the nation and bringing a general sense of calm over Great Britain. We loved the image and thought it captured the Queen’s elegance and personality perfectly, so we decided to give our customers another opportunity to appreciate the image, especially as there were only a limited number of copies printed for it’s initial release. On 6 th February 2022, Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when she was just 25 years old.
