About this deal

After what happened last time, I know better than to fall for Nash again. Not to mention, there’s a strict no-fraternization policy between trainers and their athletes. Problem is, our chemistry is hotter than ever—and he’s determined to convince me to give him another chance. Other than that, she prides herself on being a discovery writer, and as such, her stories sometimes take unexpected turns depending on where her characters lead. Given the chaotic nature of her writing, the duration it takes for her to get her works published varies from a few months to several years.

It was good but idk I feel like the sex tape scandal should have been something more. It was really played down on what happened after being hyped up about what could happen. The Enforcer” by Avery Keelan is the beautiful romance story of Nash and Violet. He had been her first boyfriend who was her first love, her first time, her first heartbreak, and her first everything. Nash Richards was my first everything. First boyfriend, first time, first love. First heartbreak, too. One last thing, the spice was...immaculate to say the least. I can't even begin to explain where my head and voice went with the spice. My spice rating says it all. Bottom Line? It was ok. I think there was a lot of fluff that could have been paired down. I skimmed a lot of the last 60%. But I finished. 🤷🏼‍♀️. ⭐️⭐️⭐️I really really liked a lot of things about this book. First and foremost, I liked the fact that things were realistic and genuine. Violet put herself out there for Nash because she believed in him and truly loved him, she was patient with him and tried her best to understand his point of view on a lot of things. For example, there was no “he smiles for the first time” moment OR “i haven’t heard him laugh before bc he’s so grumpy but now he is and it’s magical” moment EITHER. Meeting freshman year of college, Nash has eyes for only one girl until his past issues start to affect their relationship. After breaking her heart, Nash finds himself in close proximity of Violet in senior year when she becomes his athletic trainer. Just like many of her contemporaries, Avery Keelan plans her stories very loosely. When she begins writing her story, she usually has an idea of the landmarks she is aiming for and always knows the destination. Since she usually writes genre romance fiction most of her novels end in a happily-ever-after.

They were a couple before, until Nash decided to break up with Violet because of his family problems. I do understand that he done it for a reason, but he hurt Violet. And she was still feeling the hurt through the book. That was the main reason that she decided not to trust him that easily. The sparks, the love and the heat between both of them were again... still there. I am happy that there wasn't that much of tug and pull between them. Violet was scared that Nash will hurt her again, and he was scared for the same thing, with the exception that he was determined not to do the same mistake twice. Before we know it, the boundaries begin to blur until we can't see them anymore. But with so much on the line, I'm risking a lot more than just my heart this time. Moreover, the coach knows too much about him and he is sure the last thing he would want is for him to date his daughter. His avoidance strategy has been working but then Vaugun starts failing calc and he finds himself being tutored by Luna Ward. Lastly, one thing that grated on my nerves more than anything, throughout the book was that, even while claiming to love each other, they went around and slept with different people.Nash and Violet were a pretty good couple. The trope was definately ex-lovers-lovers to friends-friends to lovers. While she now thinks of herself as an author, she has said that her biggest dream is to one day hold a physical copy of her works and put it on her home bookshelf. She would also be delighted if one or several of her books were optioned and made into movies. somehow the enforcer made me fall in love with sports college romance (and reading), to an extent, all over again. this reinvigorated me in unfit body, destitute soul and wretched mind. thank you avery keelan. Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. Otherwise Engaged” by Avery Keelan is another beautiful romance between Thayer and Bennett. The former believed that pretending she had a boyfriend would help to get her out of trouble, only to find that it landed her in more.

But their chemistry is as hot as it has ever been and he seems hellbent on convincing her that he deserves another chance. Before they know it the boundaries are blurring until they ultimately disappear. I also didn’t like how there were so many loose ends with Luke. Like wtf did he even want? He dumped her? Why was he stalking her, what was his motivation to split them up? More insight on that situation would have been good.

Publication Order of Standalone Novels

They get together early, so early that I was truly concerned with where she would go with this because it was a big book. She could have taken out so much of them in their happy phase (especially since the break up is late and doesn’t last long) and focused more on developing the conflict.
