About this deal

This book could definitely be classified as a slower-burn romance. There is sexual tension present, but the friends-to-enemies component outstrips any attraction the characters might have. Future books have the potential to have higher steam. THE READING CAFE: http://www.thereadingcafe.com/shattered-vows-crimson-point-3-by-kaylea-cross-review-and-excerpt-tour/ Also I can’t help but think about how she truly threw herself in front of a train, when she found out what their true motives were in the end. I know that she did it to stop herself from killing them ( which like I mean she wouldn’t be wrong to do that), but I wish she had just gotten away from them. Maybe have gotten captured, and then they could lament that fact that it was their actions that drove her to it. However, no, my girl said go big or go home and ran right into a train. Isekai (manwha/manga reference) this girl stat so she can get in a story with way nicer men. I’m being extra harsh not all of the men were as terrible as Jacob. But I definitely need to see groveling next book, I don’t think I can continue reading if Riva immediately forgives them. Nah I need her to damn near move on from them before she forgive them. That’s what’s driving me to read the next book.

This is book three in a series and while the story continues from the second book, there is plenty of explanation if you have not read any of the previous books or need a refresher since reading the previous books. Shattered Vows it a true romance novel. It's a sweet story of two people stumbling through to meeting each other on an emotional level with some suspenseful tones throughout that didn't take away, but rather added to the awesomeness of the book. The reason for this she says is that it is never too easy to get a happily ever after between her feisty heroines and the alpha but aloof men they love. The only thing that got me was when there is finally some 'action' between the two of them I noticed a repeat in the phrasing about nipples within two-three paragraphs of each other and I mentally fell out of the story for a moment thinking "How f**king tight can one woman's nipples get???" It kinda took away from the story. I also didn't require the epilogue. While it was a bit funny, I would have liked it if it had ended with "even the bullet part" from the end of the last chapter. And as more conditions arise, it's clear there's a fine line between commitment and betrayal... and neither of us knows where that line falls. Book Genre: Adult, Adult Fiction, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Crime, Dark, Mystery, Romance This was told from multiple POVs but this first book was for the majority of Riva and her thoughts with just cameos from the boys. I would like to get to know them much better as I did think some individuals here shone brighter than others. Overall though I’m invested in what’s to come and this series has definitely captured my imagination.

He draws her into a complex dream in which she has to find a way to forget when she ultimately has to return home. What I loved most was the friends-to-enemies-to-lovers component. They are a group of best friends who, through a fatal event and lies, have been separated for years. When they rejoin, the bonds of friendship cannot survive the hurt, and the boys turn against the FMC in anger, believing the lies they’ve been told over the truth she brings. Because she still loves them, she puts up with their behavior, but for how long? Jacob Andreas Zian and Dominic all blame Riva for what they consider her betrayal. They believe her actions and disloyalty caused the death of Jacobs's twin Griffin. The only thing Riva can do now Is attempt to prove her loyalty through her actions which isn’t easy when all that gets thrown at her is suspicion and hate.

You cannot expect me to have a friends-to-enemies-to-lovers reverse harem and expect me to be okay. I am not okay. What I am is in dire need of the sequel! Rewards: Fourth Journey Cache (contains some Malignant Hearts, Forgotten Souls, and jewelry), Limitless Rage Aspect (Barbarian), Metamorphic Stone Aspect (Druid), Rathma’s Chosen Aspect (Necromancer), Synergy Aspect (Rogue), and Frostblitz Aspect (Sorcerer). When she is not spending time with friends and family or writing, she usually loves to call people just to talk. If she cannot find someone to swap stories with on the phone she can be found watching trashy shows on TV or reading romances. Shattered Vow gave me romantic and angsty X-Men vibes, except that instead of going to a school for gifted youngsters, these kids were born and raised in a creepy military facility and forced to undergo rigorous, brutal training aimed to turn them into weapons. Growing up, the six kids—Riva and her guys—form a very tight bond and dream of escape, but once they try, things go horribly wrong. Riva is separated from the group, and four years later, when she’s finally able to escape and save the guys, they believe her to be a traitor.Shain Rose is a new adult and contemporary romance novelist who loves to say that she fights for love one word at a time. There is a lot of mystery about their powers & they are also trying to find out information about themselves which propels the story forward.
