About this deal

Generally speaking, the difference is not massive but poor design can be a source of frustration and poor user experience. The interior of the case is partly lined with nylon material, again with the aim of weight savings. Samsonite S’cure 75cm Durability The wheels on the Samsonite S’Cure are excellent and performed well over a number of surfaces. Obviously, with all suitcase wheels, they don’t perform that well over rougher terrains. Yes, there is no zip mechanism. Instead there is a waterproof seal and the suitcase is closed using clasps. What is the Samsonite S’Cure DLX range? DLX versions have new interiors compared to the regular S’Cure range. Both are perfectly serviceable.

Instead of the regular zip we see on most suitcases, Samsonite have offered a new direction that I think we will see more of in the future. Zips are a particular weak point in luggage because of damage and theft. The seal removes those weak points. Large suitcases are 70 to 79 cm or 27 to 31 inches in height. They have a capacity of 55 L up to 140 L. Just imagine how many clothes and shoes you could fit in these suitcases! What is better: a spinner or an upright suitcase? If there is a luggage company that knows what it is doing, it is Samsonite. They are masters of innovation in material and product durability. There is a reason they offer a 10-year warranty, this is the level of confidence they have. I actually agree with this design choice, it reduces weight and actually makes it easier to keep clean. Since most linings cannot be removed, they cannot be cleaned to a high standard.

If Samsonite is not for you, there are a number of alternatives. Read my article on the top 10 manufacturers. Samsonite make great products…and if they aren’t great, at minimum they are good. They use excellent materials with excellent build quality…they are very consistent with this.

Main Features

The carry handles are integrated into the case design and they are very well done. The side handle is lifted out whereas the top handle is always available. The material is comfortable enough. The S’Cure hardside luggage is made of a new, revolutionary polypropylene material that is called Flowlite. This material is incredibly lightweight, but also very durable. The shell of the suitcase is, therefore, incredibly strong and resistant to pretty much anything. And it is really easy to clean, which is something I always look for in luggage. Samsonite does offer a lifetime warranty with their cases. I’d be surprised if you need to use this with these tough hard-shell cases. The only negatives I could find involved damage from airlines and scratches. Of course, nobody wants that – though I’d be super-surprised if these Samsonite cases fared any worse than a cheap ‘no brand’ alternative under the circumstances.
