Signature LED headlights illuminate hidden dust under furniture for a totally clean home. The costs for delivery, installation services and monthly insurance products cannot be placed on BNPL. There are some downsides though. While it provides decent performance on carpets, it can’t match the best models for deep cleaning. There’s also no option to adjust the suction power and the eight metre power cord is more restrictive than other models.
Firstly, the NZ801UK is the standard upright model, and the NZ801UKT comes with a pet tool for the home. That’s it.The floorhead also provides decent edge performance, although you’ll still need to use a crevice tool for cleaning right up to walls. To use the hair remover on the roller simply follow along the groove and the hair will become dislodged. The hose makes up for this, coming in at 1.6m. This is longer than the NV700UK/T, but it is shorter than the NV681UK/T – a slight disappointment. The length is still good for cleaning the stairs, reaching cobwebs, and adding some radius to the cleaning experience. Cleaning Power We think the Shark NZ801UKT is one of the best upright vacuums on the market. It provides strong cleaning performance on hard floors and pet hair, and does a decent job on carpets too. We love the extra features Shark includes, as it helps to make the NZ801UKT more versatile than many other uprights.
Pet hair is another area where the NZ801UKT excels. Many vacuums struggle with fur, but the DuoClean floorhead is brilliant at removing hair from carpets, while the turbo pet tool is just as effective at cleaning stairs or sofas. Extra-long reach - With a stretch hose and long 8m power cord you can enjoy total reach of 10.17m for effortless whole-home cleaning.The Shark NV801UK comes with a 1.1 Litre capacity dust collection pod. To empty you need to simply press the release catch on top of the Vacuum Pod handle and then go over to a bin and press the dust-cup empty buttons. With a weight of 6.5kg, the Shark isn’t the lightest vacuum we’ve reviewed, but it’s not too heavy either. It handles well and is easy to manoeuvre around furniture, although we don’t think it can match Dyson Ball technology when it comes to steering.
