Caroline, NESS’s fundraising manager, has enjoyed photography since childhood with the hobby providing a lifeline during Covid restrictions. After sharing some of her pictures on social media, colleagues came up with the idea of putting together a calendar. These are the proposed school term dates forthe 2023to 2024academic year. This represents a195-day school year, which includes 5 in-service training days, when teachers will attend, but students will not. Term After all the excesses of the festive season, it will be time to get dressed, put away the chocolates and remote control, give ourselves a shake and start thinking about the year ahead.

The school year starts in September and is usually organised into 3 terms with a 1 week holiday halfway through the term.
