About this deal

It's about the rise of a weak character to a killing machine in essence. Old trope sure but with a few twists. There is sex, greed, manipulation, deception, sexisism and murder however as the main character is asexual and amoral these are done by side and minor characters allowing for a completely different way of telling these types of stories. Violence is the Only Option: Almost all conflicts in the story are resolved through a vigorous application of lethal force. For monsters and demons, it's the instinctive and preferred response, respectively. Green Thumb: Like other Dryads, she doesn't so much "live" in her Hylt tree so much as she is the Hylt tree, which means she can control and shapeshift any part of it as easily as one could move their own fingers.

Surrounded by Idiots: Has been shown to be quite knowledgeable about a wide range of topics, unlike all of the people and demons he has to work with.Dull Eyesof Unhappiness: Has them after being rescued from the clutches of an underworld organization.

Pet the Dog: It might be motivated by self interest (happy familiars are more loyal), but the freedom it grants to its familiars to do as they please in their free time and its molestation of Xera qualify as this, from the demonic and monstrous perspectives at any rate.Dumb Muscle: Thinking is not her strong point, often opting for simple solutions to complex problems, such as dislodging a dungeon core from its magically affixed position by hitting it really hard.

Idiot Hero: As a mimic Boxxy had limited intelligence and it took dozens of chapters - and a rank up - just for it to learn to talk in full sentences. Even the author has stated on multiple occasions that Boxxy is moron. Power Crystal: The dungeon cores are large crystals. Some spell caster classes can turn their spells into crystals for later use. Boxxy abuses this mechanic to defeat the last boss in a dungeon. Eyeless Face: Though he has yet to make an appearance in the real world, he is depicted as having no eyes in The Beyond, though this not prevent him from seeing. Also sports a devilish goatee and six fingers on each hand. Off of that, i really do enjoy the interactions between the characters and their environs. And i will definitely say that you had a LOT of fun with making a particular deity.Seven Deadly Sins: Each of the current Overlords embodies a sin by the Chaotic Goddess' design, and this carries over to the demons that follow in their template. As an example, Nagamor's sin is Wrath and all fiends are battle-hungry monsters that are filled with rage and violence. Trapped in Another World: Apparently humans showing up out of nowhere and raving about other worlds is a common enough occurrence in the setting to not elicit any fuss from the setting's governments. The otherworlders, as they're known, either get killed by monsters or integrate into one of the civilizations.
