About this deal

When you meet a new person, you usually introduce yourself first and exchange basic information. You won’t have to do this again the next time you meet your new acquaintance - unless you forget who they are or vice versa. In this case, delete the pairing information of the headset from the BLUETOOTH device, and then pair them again. If the device information of the headphones or speaker is registered to your mobile device, use the following procedure to delete the device information, then reattempt pairing.

NOTE: For how to enter the pairing mode onyour Bluetooth device, refer to the manual supplied with the product. The Bluetooth device you’re trying to connect to may not show up in the Bluetooth list if it’s already connected with a different device (e.g. a relative's phone might already be connected to your speaker or headphones without you noticing). You need to disable that connection first. Also, there’s a limit to how many Bluetooth devices you can pair. Most smartphones can save Bluetooth pairing information for up to eight devices. That limit means your phone will delete the oldest pairing information if you try to pair a ninth device. Once BLUETOOTH devices are paired, there is no need to pair them again, except in the following cases: Type your search word (e.g. ‘Bluetooth pairing’) in the search bar in the top left-hand corner, as shown in the screenshot below.Where Sony's MDR-ZX330BT falters in design is that it's, unequivocally, one of the cheapest-feeling mid-range headsets around. That has to do, mostly, with the unpadded plastic bridge that connects the two ear cups and the overall lightness (the headset weighs in at an ultra-light 150g).

If you have paired your Bluetooth device with different devices before, your device may have automatically connected to another device without you knowing it. Make sure you disable that connection before attempting a new one. Some TVs support Bluetooth remotes, but not Bluetooth headphones. The headphones need a different Bluetooth profile than the remote control. There are transmitting and receiving Bluetooth devices. Your phone can send music to a speaker, but not the other way around. The headset can be paired with multiple devices, but can only play music from one paired device at a time. Bring the headset and the BLUETOOTH device closer together. Remove any obstacles between the headset and the BLUETOOTH device.

NOTE: The procedure to set to the pairing mode differs according to your device. For details, refer to the manual supplied with the product. If the headset is not used for a long time, the indicator (red) may not light up when you connect the micro-USB cable to charge the headset. In this case, do not disconnect the micro-USB cable from the headset: wait a few minutes until the indicator (red) lights up.

The Bluetooth profile of a device determines what Bluetooth devices it can communicate with and how this communication is done. Take these two examples:

If you experience discomfort after using the BLUETOOTH device, stop using the BLUETOOTH device immediately. Should any problem persist, consult your nearest Sony dealer. Due to the characteristic of BLUETOOTH wireless technology, the sound played on this unit is slightly delayed from the sound played on the BLUETOOTH device during talking on the telephone or listening to the music. NOTE: If you Forget a device, it will no longer appear under ' Previously connected devices'. You'll have to tap ' Pair new device' to pair it again. Tap on the gear icon next to the device you wish to Disconnect or Remove (forget its pairing information).
