About this deal

I think what’s nice about [the new MAC color correctors], and how a normal person would incorporate them into their makeup routine, is that they’d be used with the sort of approach like you’re erasing the tones off the skin. Illuminate, a sheer lavender And I love loose powder. I know that some people, when you really talk to the average consumer, they’re like, “It’s messy on my countertop,” and this and that. But there is that sort of je ne sais quoi— that light powdery-ness of loose powder — that looks velvety and almost soft-focused. I think what’s exciting about these particular products is how delicately we used the technology to our advantage to make them really workable, user friendly, and into something that actually does what it claims to do, which is to color correct the actual tones and the idiosyncrasies of the skin. Recharge, a sheer apricot I think the mica does help to soften the look of my pores and hide the fine smile lines at the corners of my mouth. Did you find the perfect makeup dupes for you? Or do you have more to share? Don’t forget to comment below and share your thoughts!

What’s interesting for me as a makeup artist, and what I’ve been really trying to tell my clients and just every consumer I interact with, is the idea now of letting the skin be revealed from underneath. I asked MAC Senior Artist Victor Cembellin, who I’ve known for a few years, about the new products, what they do, and the best ways to use ’em. Editor’s Note: This post was originally published on March 19, 2017, and has been updated for quality and relevancy. So, if you’re using the CC cream itself, or if you’re setting with the loose powder or compact powder, it’s the idea that because they are so sheer and delicate, it almost takes the guesswork out of the product for you. So I find myself really gravitating toward those two products, but I think, of course, for somebody on the go or someone traveling, obviously the compacts are the best choice. Prep + Prime CC Colour Correcting Compact swatches from the left: Adjust, Recharge, Neutralize and Illuminate One more question for you! With the powders, would you ever use them under the eyes?

Starting today, you’ll know where to go when you need to shop for makeup. You’ll smile ear-to-ear with all the savings, and I’m sure your wallet will be left smiling too. I tried to imitate the eyeshadow look you have in the picture when you posted it with the original DuWop post a week ago, but I was at my parents’ house over Spring Break and forgot to bring most of makeup, including my eyeshadow bag. I ended up just using Rimmel’s Jungle Green eyeliner all around my eye instead, so I wasn’t able to take any pictures and send them over. 🙁 I’ll be sure to send some over when I actually get the chance to recreate the look. 🙂 What I don’t like about this MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing powder? MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing powder I prefer Prep+Prime, on the other hand, on glowy and casual skin days when I feel like wearing tinted moisturizer or sheer foundation. Break o’ dawn! Hi, Victor! What can you tell me about these new Prep + Prime CC Colour Correct products? Should I be intrigued?

This is exactly why a lot of women are on the lookout for the best drugstore dupes out there. MAC is one of the most popular makeup brands in the world, but its price is big time as well! Looking for a cheaper alternative to MAC’s Nylon eyeshadow as your highlighter? Well, next in line is the Best Pro Eyeshadow Palette Makeup. If MAC makeup products are starting to put a dent in your savings, these makeup dupes will save you tons of money. Plus, they can be as good and awesome as any other beauty products on the market! 1. MAC Prep & Prime vs Rimmel Stay Matte Primer You’re going to use the powders on top of your foundation, or if you’re going to use the CC creams, you can start before you actually apply your foundation. When we’re approaching things, we’re really just erasing versus covering. With the CC creams, two great colors would be the Neutralize and the Adjust. I tend to grab those a lot. And literally just kind of like push, pull and using brushes, or obviously using fingers, but just really acting like I’m skimming or erasing off the tones, before I approach [the skin] with foundation.

If MAC’s Studio Fix Powder Plus foundation has been a staple in your makeup kit, but you find the price to be getting more expensive by the day, why not give Rimmel’s Stay Matte Pressed Powder a try? Can be used alone or even with any foundation or compact. You can work it your own way depending upon the occasion and it just works fine in all ways. Yes! These are really forgiving. Imagine the Prep + Prime Translucent Powder that we sell. It’s basically that type of formula with a little bit of that color added to it, so they’re very, very flexible and forgiving under the eyes. CC me! MAC handled the reflective mica well in this powder. I can see a subtle but visible glow, but it’s not so obvious that I look like I work at a 24-hour discoteque. If you want to wear eyeliner which is long-lasting and won’t smudge, MAC’s Liquidlast Liner will definitely deliver. But if you finish your tube fast, maybe you can try a cheaper alternative like Milani’s Infinite liquid liner.

Do you love MAC’s primer? You can get the same finish for a fraction of the price with Rimmel’s matte primer. MAC’s popular face and body foundation is known for its lightweight coverage and natural finish. Surprisingly, Maybelline’s FIT me! foundation offers the same coverage and finish as well. I would say, for sure, the CC creams. Prep + Prime CC Colour Correcting SPF 30 swatches from the left: Adjust, Recharge, Neutralize and Illuminate
