About this deal

You're starting outside Jabba's Palace. Going up to the gate will release two TT-8L's who will open fire on you, so blast them repeatedly. Assemble the platform in front of the gate and hop up to expose the third one. Once all three are blown, the gate will open. As you enter, you'll be set upon by Gamorreans. They keep popping out of the holes in the ceiling until you pull the levers to shut them. Once both are closed, you can explore more freely. The door at the far end will only open for bounty hunters. Happily, you can provide such credentials, soon. Head to the left and you'll find a helmet dispenser. Not only will this give Leia the Boushh helmet and allow her to use green circles, it will also allow her to throw thermal detonators by pressing Z. That'll be quite useful. When something can be blown by a thermal detonator, you'll know because it'll be a shiny gray and your shots will rebound off it. Anyway, use the green circle and move on up the stairs. At the top, the door will open, and hey! It's Luke! Close the two hatches to stop the Gamorrean flow, then assemble the Bounty Hunter Panel. Have anyone wearing a Boushh helmet use it, then move on through the door. Droid Rescue Anthony Daniels: Remembering That Galaxy Far, Far Away" — The Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine 1 (Picture only) While most of Jabba courtiers followed him to the pit, very few returned. Indeed, Jabba and most of his minions died in a fiery explosion that engulfed the Khetanna, his private sail barge, and the Alliance members escaped. [11] Some of those who survived returned to the palace in an attempt to take over the crime lord's empire or to steal his wealth. Many fell victim to B'omarr initiation rituals and had their brains removed. The palace eventually was shut down, the gates refusing to open for anyone. While many of Jabba's relatives or opponents attempted to take the palace, the walls were impenetrable and it eventually fell into abandonment.

It wasn't until 516 BBY that the Hutt named Jabba Desilijic Tiure discovered the citadel and ousted Alkhara and seized the monastery. Like Alkhara and his predecessors, Jabba maintained a good relationship with the monks, adding on to their monastery and generally avoiding the strange religious people. Along with plating the exterior walls with ditanium, Jabba built an expansive hangar and garage for his fleet of ships and swoops. Erecting a throne room in the subterranean bowels of the citadel, the Hutt transformed the complex into a palace. [1] At the center of the room, the polished stone floor gave way to a viewing grille which looked down upon a large pit where Jabba's beasts would fight, entertaining the Hutt and his guests. Amongst the beasts were Jabba's prized rancor and a krayt dragon. A trap door in the floor in front of Jabba's dais could be opened by a trigger mechanism in the Hutt's hookah pipe, dropping threatening or otherwise bothersome guests into the pit to be devoured. The throne room was host to Jabba's private band, the Max Rebo Band in the Hutt's last days. The band, headlining vocalists Sy Snootles and Joh Yowza, performed at Jabba's whim, occupying a loft directly off of the chamber. [13] [14] Includes 9 minifigures: Jabba, Salacious Crumb, Bib Fortuna, Gamorrean Guard, Oola, Han Solo, Princess Leia in Boushh outfit, Chewbacca and B'omarr Monk

Disguised as Tuskens, the two destroyed the sentry guard, got the great door open, and entered the domain of the B'omarr monks. Most of the complex had been looted during the mass exodus of Jabba's court, but many secrets remained. Consorting with a monk named Maizor, the duo learned of the Hutt's plans and used spare parts in the abandoned motor pool to return to Anchorhead. [12] One year later, Jabba's empire was restored by his father and then nephew. However, Jabba's Palace remained abandoned to the monks, and the palace of Gorga the Hutt became the new headquarters of the criminal empire. Weapons include medium blaster, blaster pistol, blaster rifle, thermal detonator, axe and Boushh's lance blade Below the dungeon levels were cellars in which Jabba kept various flasks and barrels of clarets. Deeper were various passageways, tunnels, and chambers in which the B'omarr monks lurked and went about their practices. One chamber was protected by a triple set of doors and contained B'omarr regeneration gems. [15] Even deeper still below these levels were vast networks and labyrinths of tunnels and corridors.

Ortugg's Letter Home" — The Star Wars Sourcebook (also reprinted in Second Edition) (Mentioned only) If a new version of Jabba’s Palace does hit shelves in 2022 – 10 years on from that controversy, which made national newspaper headlines in the UK and around the world –the LEGO Group may choose to avoid an accurate depiction of the set as we saw it in 2012, and perhaps focus more closely on the interior, as per 2003’s 4480 Jabba’s Palace. Characters: Princess Leia (Boushh), Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker (Jedi), C-3PO, R2-D2, Han Solo (Skiff) I have never seen a more sinister and depraved crowd. One would think the rest of the galaxy safe, what with every thug, debaucher, and scofflaw having gathered here." ―C-3PO, to R2-D2, commenting on the inhabitants of Jabba's palace [2] There is some conflicting information on the location of Jabba's Palace. All sources before Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy, including all West End Games game material and Star Wars Galaxies, place it on the northern edge of the Western Dune Sea, not too distant from Wayfar, while newer material shows it located on the edge of the Northern Dune Sea, north of Mos Eisley. This article presumes that the newer map is correct. It's not so unusual for folks to take umbrage at "Star Wars" and its characters: Over the years, the fictional universe has weathered claims of anti-Semitism and anti-Japanese sentiment as well as complaints about racial stereotyping by Jar Jar Binks. Do you think the latest protest by the Austrian Turks has a valid point, or is this controversy as silly as Jar Jar's accent? Feel free to weigh in with your comments below. In the rancor pit, put together the grapple point, grapple up, then double jump to reach the last one. In a statement to the Austrian Times (h/t Huff Post), the Turkish Cultural Community of Austria demanded an apology from the LEGO Group, claiming: “It is apparent that, for the figure of the repulsive bad guy Jabba and the whole scenery, racial prejudices and hidden suggestions against Orientals and Asians were used as deceitful and criminal personalities.” Write new chapters in the Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett saga with this Boba Fett’s Throne Room (75326) buildable toy for kids 9+ years old. This detailed LEGO Star Wars set offers a new look into an iconic scene from The Book of Boba Fett. Dive in and build it yourself! That is scarcely what I would call a palace, Artoo. It looks more like an iron foundry." ― C-3PO, to R2-D2, as they approach Jabba's Palace [2]

The upper portion of the cupola was made up of several smaller rooms used strictly for maintenance, defense, and the everyday technical needs of the complex. Among the rooms located here was a hydroponics chamber where the amphibious delicacies of Jabba's diet were grown and genetically altered. Amongst the ventilation equipment and moisture converters was a chamber which had been taken over by a band of Jawas, scavenging what they could while attempting to remain undetected. [13] Alkhara's tower and power facility [ ] The terrorist Jabba the Hutt likes to smoke hookah and kills his victims," the center said. "It is clear that the figure of the ugly villain Jabba and the whole scene serves up racial prejudice and vulgar insinuations against Orientals and Asians as sneaky and criminal personalities. ..." If I told you half the things I've heard about this Jabba the Hutt, you'd probably short circuit." - C-3POStoneWars notes that the reported Death Star Throne Room Diorama could still be on the way with a different product number, meanwhile, rounding out what might end up being a trio of Return of the Jedi dioramas for the film’s 40th anniversary. Also rumoured for next year is 75353 Endor Speeder Bike Chase Diorama, which is thought to include at least Luke Skywalker and a Scout Trooper among a roster of four minifigures. The Jabba's palace LEGO Star Wars buildable model opens for easy access to the detailed throne room, barbecue area and kitchen. There is a throne with a hidden treasure compartment and a pop-up function to eject Bib Fortuna, tilting steps, an opening gate, and many playful accessories – including the famous Boba Fett helmet! At Jabba's Palace™ on Tatooine, Princess Leia is disguised as Boushh as she and Chewbacca try to rescue the carbonite-frozen Han Solo. Can she get past the roof-mounted missiles, defense guns and surveillance equipment to reach them? Or will Jabba and his motley band of followers capture the princess and entrap her beneath Jabba's sliding throne? Includes 9 minifigures: Jabba, Salacious Crumb, Bib Fortuna, Gamorrean Guard, Oola, Han Solo, Princess Leia in Boushh outfit, Chewbacca and B'omarr Monk. It’s also worth considering just how much room the moulded Jabba figure would take up when envisioning any possible palace diorama, but we’ll have to wait to see how the LEGO Group handles it – if this set exists at all. At this stage, it’s still just a rumour, so take it lightly. For now, you can currently revisit this location in 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room. There’s also the question of whether it would even include Jabba: by the time Boba seizes control of the palace, the Hutt is long gone. That would really depend on whether the set is based on Return of the Jedi or The Book of Boba Fett, although it’s difficult to imagine the LEGO Group choosing to release a set named Jabba’s Palace (if that’s what it ends up being) without Jabba himself. True Jedi at 43,000: Not much to this one. Just be sure to hit all the torches. Story - Palace EntryIn the large room with the second green circle, use the Force on the hatch cover on the right side of the room.
