About this deal

In its core, Heart of Obsidian is a simple love story between two people who are anything but simple. When I finally found out who the hero is I was beyond happy. Kaleb is one character who intrigued me since we first met him in Visions of Heat and I don't know if I ever read about character that is so ambiguous and captivating at the same time (maybe Barrons.) We were hinted in previous installments that Kaleb is beautiful and that he has immense power, but true force of both those statements we come to see in HoO. I finished this book completely in love with Kaleb and I can say he is by far my favorite character (sorry Judd, I loved you for a very long time). Kaleb is so beautiful and perfect in his Silence, and yet inside he is a man so damaged, complex and troubled. What Kaleb had to survive and what it did to him made me want to scream and hug him (like he would let that ;)) and never let go. Oh, how wrong were Psy for initiating Silence Protocol! Kaleb, the most perfect of them all is at the same time clear evidence of "wrongness" that Silence is.

Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star from ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ (aka the one who did the actual farming) discusses all angles of life, from cities to sports; celebrities to parties. Part informative book about farming, part love letter to farming, part humorous memoir… about farming! This book is an enjoyable romp through the countryside, as seen through the eyes of a country boy, laying bare all the good and bad moments of life. This book is guaranteed to teach you something, whether big or small, and make you laugh along the way. The Ghost considered using Sienna for his plan and no, he's not related to her. He also avoid question about Arrow In this book we have a psy couple who were close during childhood until she was kidnapped at 16, and tortured for 7 years. He searched for her for all of those years and finally frees her early in the book. But, her memories are gone and she is just a bit screwed up. Imagine that! She had held on for all of those years because of his last words to her:

Fue tan injusto todo lo que le pasó desde que fue un niño tan horrible desgarró mi corazoncito… Santano Enrique da gracias que te mataron los cambiantes porque yo te hubiera matado lenta y muy muy dolorosamente PERRO ENFERMO ASQUEROSO😠😡🔪💣 Yes, it’s a fear, or you know, a nervousness thing, but I think I’m a firm believer of… going towards it and facing your fear with brave shoulders.’ Live your life, Sahara. Live it as big and with as much color as you can stand to bear. Don't let anyone or anything - the family, Silence, the weight of your ability, even my need to keep you close - confine you again. This left me thinking, how much better can this series get after this? What story can truly top this off? I really didn't expect what I read, it surprised me at how something that was impossible could still be possible. Had me thinking no matter how broken, lost or unrecoverable a person can be, they should never give up in the face of love. This book is one of my all time favourites!!! I love Kaleb, I love Sahara and I freaking love everything about their story!!! It's such an amazing journey these two go through. Not all is pretty but therefore so much worth it at the end. I really like the plot, it's not like the previous books. We basically get the story of just Sahara and Kaleb, without the unnecessary side stories of other characters. That's probably a huge reason why I love the story so much. Also, it's a shorter book than the rest of them, thankfully. I felt like the previous books had so much other stuff going on that I couldn't really enjoy the main story of these two characters. But in this book the plot is awesome and we truly get to see basically just their story. Also, we finally get some huge answers answered, yes! I think this could've been easily the last book in this series because it's perfect!

Silence though, is double edged sword and while muting their souls it is also the only answer, the only barrier between them and the darkness they are capable of. The last wall between them and insanity; their only chance at ruling the world. And the Pure Psy, a rogue radical fraction of fanatics, are determined to do so, even if it means murdering anyone that stands in their way. First off let me just say that Nalini Singh can write like no other. I was blown away by how she wrote Kaleb and Sahara. Granted, she's written a few other good characters...okay, maybe quite a few other good characters, but these two are amazing! You", he said, "are the single exception that rule." The oldest, deepest, most beautiful flaw in his Silence. "Without you, I would be a monster." You are here," he said in a tone that made her heart thump wildly against her ribs, "because you belong to me." This book started so slow, and the mystery is too deep, make me confused and frustated to know what exactly going on between that two. I also deeply disturbed by Kaleb's behavior to Sahara in the first part. His dominance make me scream, make me "I don't want to read another alpha male that do not respect the heroine!", also Sahara seems like a meek woman. Yet, as the story unraveled, as we venture deep into Kaleb and Sahara's relationship and their past, all his demeanor and Sahara's act to him made sense. Made me understand Kaleb, a broken man with broken mind and soul, yet still fight for what he considered as his. Sahara too, not a damsel in distress. She seems so weak at first because of her captivity, yet in the end she show her strength. I applause Nalini for handled this sensitive (for me!) topic with grace and her beautiful writing style.Move over Kiss of Snow. As much as I loved that book, Heart of Obsidian is even better. Easily and completely my new favorite in the Psy-Changeling series. I'm going to try very hard not to spoil the story beyond a basic set-up, but I am going to mention the hero and heroine by name, so beware. There has been so much hype surrounding the 12th book in Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling series. With the identity of the hero and heroine kept under wraps until the book was released, readers have been on edge with anticipation as speculations reached a whirlwind of activity.

I won't name the heroes although I'm pretty sure there aren't many people who haven't heard who they are anymore. Still...

You're mine," Simple quiet words that were a punch to the chest. "I will fight for you, today, tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come." You are here,” he said in a tone that made her heart thump wildly against her ribs, “because you belong to me.” Kaleb Krychek you are definitely my new book boyfriend and I will love you until the ends of the earth...
