About this deal

People are happily enjoying illicit sex and that is why they bind a very strong knot of suffering for many lives to come. It ruins many lifetimes. But no, I just need to say that I HATE to dnf a book. It has to be truly horrible for me to take such drastic actions😂 I don't think that this book was that awful, but I did not enjoy it, and from the very first "bro", I knew it was going to be a very slippery slope😭 Param Pujya Dadashri says, “ If you burn your sins in repentance even then your bad deeds would end. After listening to all this, if you were to ask me, "What would happen to me?" I would reassure you that I would help you. There are conditions. You have to wise up from today. From the moment you become aware of your mistake and do pratikramans with sincerity. I will show you what to do next. Then it would all disappear and I would do many other vidhis, special blessings, for you.” I have to admit that I'm ECSTATIC that we got to experience a very deeply emotional and poweful scene with Knox near the end. No spoiler but, Knox, I love ya 4 ever.

Anderson’s strength was so evident throughout this book!! His love for Crew and how much he wanted to be there for him during the low points was excellent to read. I also loved the stark contrast between him and Aston, his twin. After reading book 2, it was amazing to get Anderson’s story. Talk about finishing on a high note! Ashley has done it again! I'm SPEECHLESS after this roller coaster of a ride, driven by none other than Crew and Anderson. Anderson was a good friend to Crew, he made as much effort as he could to be available to him even though he had a girlfriend and his own college commitments, he was his best friend and knew how his parents were with him and after his overdose he wanted to be there for him. The more time he spent with him he realised he started to see his friend in a new light, and in the end he couldn’t fight his feelings anymore. He was naive to his friends addiction but it wasn’t his fault he was under Crews spell and didn’t realise he was being lied too. Dadashri: Rapists go to the seventh hell. As much pleasure he derives from his actions, the misery and pain that he suffers is infinitely greater and that is when he will decide that he does not want to go there anymore. Therefore, in this world if there is anything that you most definitely should not do, it is to rape someone. Never allow your intentions to be tainted sexually. One who rapes goes to hell and has nothing but constant suffering there. In this world there is nothing higher than a woman’s chastity. Free yourself with True Repentance

A. Through analysis and study of what sexuality actually is. This includes completely devaluing the... When one enjoys someone else’s wife, it is equivalent to him not worrying about someone else enjoying his own daughter. And that is exactly what happens, is it not? Others do enjoy his daughter, do they not? This is considered as extreme worthlenessness; the “ultimate” worthlessness. Will Crew be able to overcome his deadly obsession after facing a near death situation? What's gonna happen when Anderson finds out about Crew's dangerous secret, and learns there's more to him hidden beneath the surface? So in the end I'm just gonna say that if you are looking for a story filled with love, lust, true friendship and angst, so much angst... Illicit Desires is your story! I knew going into this that it would be hard core because Ashley just knows how to tap into your soul, she finds emotions in you that you didn’t know existed!

The only reason I was annoyed with him is because he waited to break up with her literally the last second, when Crew realized what was going on. No I don't think Anderson is a cheater or sth. What I think is that he's too kind for his own good. I mean..the man didn't talk to his girlfriend earlier because he waited for the right moment. Smh 🙄 The world remains in the dark even today, about the grave dangers that exist in indulging in illicit sex and sexual infidelity. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan has disclosed these dangers to open people’s eyes up to the reality. These are the facts: It is the intent of deceit and theft that drags one to enjoy sex which is not rightfully his or hers.

Crew and Anderson have been best friends since they were children. Anderson is the straight narrow, and kind-hearted guy from the bunch. He has a secret desire that, so far, no woman has been able to satisfy him.

The spice between these boys was off the charts, and I lived for it! But at the same time the sadness that Crew felt was so heartbreaking I just wanted to love on him so much. Addiction is a very real disease and it’s just as hard for the people around you as it is for the person with it, it’s a full time commitment from everyone to help an addict recover and the love and support he got from his friends is just what was needed. I have so many thoughts and feelings because this book was SO GOOD. Ashley’s writing is insane. I literally feel like all her characters are real and I just wanna be in their friend group so badly. I’m emotional about this being the last book in the series because I feel like I’ve been alongside of them watching them all grow. I don’t often get teary over books but this one definitely tugged on my heart strings. Sometimes there are books that you just connect with right away and this was one of them for me (right down to the Harry Potter references⚡️). These two have such a deep bond, and the chemistry Is explosive. It is so freaking hot. The author gave us an insight into the mind of a drug addict. It’s far from pretty. Poor Anderson. I have been in his shoes, and loving a drug addict is far from easy. A person can never be happy and has to suffer painful miseries when he enjoys sex with someone who is not rightfully his [his wife]. I despised the dialogue, the romance and how these two got together which ruined any enjoyment I might have gotten out of the dirty bits, and the whole Anderson's girlfriend thing was stupid in the first place🙂🔪For the one who has already taken on this grave liability by participating in illicit sex, but wants to come out of this grave liability, there is a way out. Through the heart-felt confession of the mistake ( alochana) to a living Gnani Purush. A Gnani Purush is completely pure in all the way and is completely free from sexuality. Furthermore, He has no selfish interests or motives behind helping you to come out of your mistakes. Therefore, you can rest assured that He never discloses anything to anyone else. Only a living Gnani Purush can show you the way out, but you have to have a clear mind, be truly repentant and have an unshakeable conviction that you will never repeat your mistake again. So it shouldn’t have come as a surprise with how well she navigated the topic of drug use in Illicit. Her ability to show us, as readers, all sides, from the person using, to friends and family attempting to help them, is remarkable. I for one, truly appreciate her taking on this Herculean task. I can't explain in words how much I'm going to miss this world and these characters, each one of them keeps a piece of my heart, I don't know how I discovered this author but she has become one of my favorites, everything she writes is pure gold and this book was no exception, from the moment I knew that this would be Anderson and Crew's book I was very intrigued as to how they would go from friends to lovers and the truth is that WOW what a beautiful love story, with so many emotions, with so much passion, with so much love, you could smell from miles away the love and respect that these two have for each other, what a good ending for this series that has become one of my favorites, very excited for everything that this author will bring out in the future. I was immediately drawn to the connection these 2 boys shared, especially through their eyes during the first part of the book. The looks, the gazes, the stares, it was intense and I was 💯 there for it! Being best friends for so long, it's like Crew and Anderson didn't even need to talk to communicate! But, what do you know, when they finally started, the talking was next level dirty. 🔥🤯🥵 Chasing the next high, so that he can forget the feeling of loneliness, Crew is always on a hunt for mind tingling sensations, that epic bliss of nothingness, to avoid the void inside him.

There’s nothing quite like that first line when I’m practically sober in the mornings, no poison running through my bloodstream yet. -Crew just succinctly and accurately summed up my reading routine. A. When you conquer the King, you get everything; his army, kingdom and power. You get his whole army.... I didn’t expect Illicit Desires to have affected me the way it did. The author’s writing has revolved from book one. I felt she wrote with raw emotions and poured her heart and soul into this book. A. The sages and the ascetics did not have any problems or quarrels. They lived as friends with their... The struggles Crew and Anderson face are raw and real and messy. There’s no sugar coating the difficulties that come not only with being an addict, but also for an addicts loved ones. Ashley wrote these scenes with honesty and didn’t shy away from the hard shit. I wanna thank her for writing a story that I think will help a lot of people feel seen and not so alone.

Just as your wife is your own, so is the case with other men. Everyone has a wife of his own, just as one has his. Every girl is born to be someone’s wife, she belongs to someone. You cannot see [look upon] someone else’s wife in any other way. If you do see her sensually by mistake, due to impression from the past life (karmic effect), then do pratikraman for it. This is all one needs to be aware of; nothing else.
